My 15 months old baby girl loved the place, and so did I. The setting is very beautiful; it brings classic tales back to life. I think today's generation desperately need that. The speakers are loud and clear. The place is very clean and easy to navigate with signs everywhere. Parking is easy. Some picnic spots with bbqs. Toilets were clean when I used them upon arrival. As we left they were not as clean. It's up to people's manners of course. There is a big changing table. It was clean. I didn't take a pram as the place is on a hill, so if you feel like exercising take it; otherwise don't. A baby carrier will do. Price is good 36$ for adults, baby for free. The views are very serene. We took our own sandwiches so can't judge the food. I think kids should see this and get a glimpse into classic literature. The only negative thing is the playground. It is not sheltered, and the equipment were very hot from the sun and somehow they need updating. But all in all it's awesome. Must see.

Great! Just as I remember it! Two kids (almost 3 and 1 n half) had a ball! Only down sides, the ride on cars at the top of the hill are gone and they blocked the fire poles in the playground.

What a fantastic park to spend the day exploring and having a family BBQ. We had kids aging from 3yrs to 14yrs boys and girls and all had a ball, raved about the park and the fantastic unique playground. Adults also amazed with the immaculate gardens and amazing views. Friendly staff even re-opened the ice cream shop for the kids as we left right on close. Highly recommended!!

Great place to take the children. Exhibits are put in place with attention to detail. Also the quality of the appearance of the masonry structures a marvel in its self.very reasonably priced and suitable for all ages.

Took Ainsley there and found it greatly entertaining for her and the best part was the bbq areas so you take your own food they have a small caravan for takeaway if you haven't brought anything with you. Best day out had a ball

Some of the displays need a little maintenance, but all in all its well maintained and fun for the family.
BYO food & drinks as in the custom of this style place the pricing is nuts ($2.80 for a 375ml can ???).
Also be prepared to work out, especially if pushing a pram, being built on the side of a hill the paths between displays are often times steep. Well worth the exercise however!

I love walking all around this place. It's very old school so please remember that when you visit. It's not about fancy animatronics.

It's a nice place. My two girls aged 5 and 7 enjoyed it however any older and I think they'd be past it. Great playground at the end. Easy parking. Very clean and well maintained. Nice day out!

Me, as an adult, found this attraction a bit "flat", not very well maintained, old fashioned, nothing really added to it to make it more attractive, but my children loved it.
It's in a beautiful, relaxing environment on the top of Mt Anakie. The attractions (buildings, statues, figurines) are colourful, well-designed and well-organised, it's a pleasure to walk through the place, watch and listen to the tales with children. Some speakers really need a maintenance as it was hard to hear and understand the audio files at some places.
I understand the concept of the place (classic tales ergo old fashioned), but I really missed some interactivity and modern stuff as today's children, even the young ones, require it. They need more challenge to keep them interested.
There's also a big and awesome playground. Some equipment really need maintenance and in some cases I felt there are safety issues too. It did not bother me personally, my children loved the playground, but other parents might have concerns about it.
The coffee was nice, the hot food was average.
My final verdict: definitely worth a visit with young children (up to age of 6 or 7), but the owners seriously need to think about how to make the place more attractive and challenging for the children and interesting for the parents too.

Great day out. Kids love it. I thought it was a little dated but then I discovered its history, such an awesome story. A little bit out of the way but a nice drive. The day was topped off by a wild koala showing off it's climbing skills right next to the playground.
