I have lived in Melbourne all my life (53years) and I visited the Brighton Bathing Boxes for the first time and they are just so impressive. I suggest you go on a week day as there are less people and better photo opportunities. So close to the Melbourne CBD and easy to get to on public transport.

It was an awesome experience to find a trendy beach huts that attracts various people all over the world! It's easy to get to by public transport. There's a positive vide going on seeing people enjoying a piece of the place be it the sand, the picnic ground or the bath houses. I just loved every minute watching peopleoh the time just went by, just like that!

Wonderful and colourful place. Truly speaks of the Victorian heritage. From the station this is a 20 min walk using either the beach walkway or the pedestrian walkway and getting down from there.

On the way to the boxes there are ornate and magnificent houses that you can see

They are a good sight to behold when in the area. Definitely a tourist spot. If I may suggest, kindly add a few more bathing house that has the Australian flag in it. So as to avoid the queue in a particular box.😀

Always been in my bucket list, and its an awesome place & worth every bit of the hype. After Sydney Opera House, its the second most photographic site in Australia and once you visit, you will know why it is..!!

It was a good activity, I met a local had a long chat and took some pics. Before the beach there are several coffee shop where you can just relax. If you are not too short in time it's good to go !

Brighton beach was delightfully bright and charming. The small bathing boxes were celebrating life with their diverse yet soothing and colourful presence. They create a sense of home in the grandiose of nature as if the visitors are in their home enjoying a splash of blue water.

Absolutely a must see place if you're in Melbourne. Gorgeous!! Walk all the way down the beach and then turn around to the way you came from. The view of the beach and the city is breathtaking. Just note that you need to pay in the carpark.

Awesome place to be. Long stretch of small colourful box houses. Good if there's a show house where one can view and experience the inside of it.

The boxes house are cute, make sure you'll stay untill sunset, during good weather it's breathtaking. I suggest you bring food and drinks, because there's no food stall nearby, at least for a 10-15 mns walk.

There is a stretch beautiful beach in Melbourne called Brighton Beach. The attraction here is the rows of colourful wooden bathing box measuring 8' x 10'. & I heard, the costs are AUD260k for each Bathing Box! In summer season, this beach is packed with sun bathers.
