I was searching for a kitchen maker as i was renovating whilst still overseas through Covid. From the first phone call I knew I was with the right company. The staff are amazing, the attention to detail, communication, product selection, advice and time given all impeccable. I have never written a review before and have no hesitation to wholeheartedly say Dan Kitchens is the best. I would never look elsewhere

I have recommended Dan Kitchens lots of times since our kitchen was designed and installed many years ago. It still looks fantastic, with the excellent functional design, superb craftsmanship, quality materials and attention to detail instantly apparent.

From the initial consultations and design to installation it was an extremely professional process. It is evident the entire team has great pride in their work.
The kitchen was expertly installed, and I can say the after-sales service is equally as impressive as the earlier meetings with Vagn and the team 20 years ago!
For example, I needed a replacement part for something I had damaged, - contacted Vagn, and the part was supplied and fitted complimentary.

There are probably many positive and glowing reviews, I will add mine, and say that if you are looking for a superb, luxury kitchen then contact Dan Kitchens, have a conversation and visit their showroom!

We have used Dan Kitchens previously, and over the years have recommended them to many friends and colleagues. We recently had a new kitchen installed, and the result is spectacular. We couldn't be happier with the outcome.
From start to finish the process was highly professional. From Vagn in the design phase, to installation which was professional, perfect and on time. Dan delivers what they promise. We recommend Dan Kitchens highly.

We have been enjoying our brand new DKA kitchen for 3.5 years now.

Admittedly the bill shock took a while to get over, but we wanted the best and we got the best. Everything fits millimetre-perfect and has given us the ideal space with which to grow our young family.

The tiny U-shaped kitchen has been replaced by an expansive arrangement of pantries that run down the wall and frame the clutter-free kitchen island and dining table. The old laundry has been replaced with a drinks bar complete with dedicated sink and tap.

A friend in the real estate industry took a few groups of househunters through our house to gauge the market value. The compliments for the kitchen were unanimous, and the perceived value increase more than covered the cost of the kitchen.

We chose to trust Arthur's design decisions, and only after seeing friends' sub-par kitchen designs/installations, do we truly realise how much we have been taking for granted.

We recently upgraded the dishwasher to a semi-integrated type, and Vagn kindly sent us an additional kickboard completely free of charge. After-sales support has been tremendous and responsive.

Amazing work by the team and should we ever move house, we will be back for another brilliant DKA kitchen.

It has been just over 6 months since our Dan Kitchen was installed and I am glad I waited to write the review because I can then comment on the quality and design after using it for a while. We have a big family of 6 and we were in desperate need for a revamped kitchen that provided space, functionality, storage and efficiency. We cannot rate Dan Kitchens highly enough for the work they did with, and for us- from our first meeting with Daniel to the final installation day, the entire process was stress-free, on time and extremely professional. We spend all our time in our kitchen and look at it everyday feeling so thankful we went ahead with Dan Kitchens. Their attention to detail, pride in their work, and quality of kitchen/cabinets is excellent and impressive. It was easy to work with them on ideas, colours, tiles, appliances etc and the advice and suggestions were second to none. We loved the first digital image Daniel showed us so much that we hardly changed a thing and used his ideas on simple decorations added ie stools, light fixtures etc in our final decor so his design ideas were perfect for us. We have recommended Dan Kitchens to many people and are already contacting them for other cabinetry work. Thank you again, Daniel, Vagn and the whole Dan Kitchens team!!

My dream kitchen was meticulously designed by Vagn at Dan Kitchens. His knowledge in design and an understanding of our needs as a young family led him to design a kitchen that is both functional and practical. I was so pleased with the detail and design of the kitchen that Dan Kitchens also designed, manufactured and installed our scullery, TV entertainment unit and outdoor BBQ.
The design service included electrical and plumbing plans for our builder to follow which allowed for an efficient and precise installation of the kitchen/scullery, entertainment unit and outdoor BBQ.
Dan Kitchens' team of installers were incredibly professional, polite and respectful. The level of detail and care they demonstrated in handling and installing my appliances and joinery was impressive, and very much appreciated.
Having experienced such professionalism, personal and friendly service and high quality products, it would be a mistake to go anywhere else.
I am very pleased to have had Dan Kitchens be part of building our forever home.

Like anyone in business today the showroom is where a company sets its standards in quality and service, it’s easy to the inundated by the picture perfect environment and the constant pressure from a salesperson/designer to broker a sale…………………… But this is where Dan’s set a new standard.

After visiting countless kitchen supplier/designers I was pleasantly surprised by the engagement of Dan’s team provided when visiting their showroom where I wasn’t hassled or pressured, instead allowed to freely roam and closely inspect the display kitchens.

The attention to detail in joinery and kitchen layout ideas defiantly sets Dan apart from the rest, then when you think you’ve seen it all, Vagn openly provides a behind the scenes view into the production floor, detailing how the kitchen will be manufactured, from providing in-depth detail of material selection, paint finishing and hardware………. Having spent my career around product design and manufacture is was a reassuring to see the depth of detail that goes into the final product and more importantly the openness and visibility Dan provides throughout the entire design and manufacture process.

The next stage of the process is when a well-seasoned designer Arthur begins to best understand his client before commencing with pitching a design, the on-site visit provides an opportunity to share what design features I saw at the showroom and wanted included in the initial design and also allows the designer to present some design features which make use of the space taking into consideration the requirements of the client. Final colour specification is where Bente firstly focuses on determining the colour scheme of the rest of the house to best integrate the new kitchen, her attention to detail also extends beyond just colour selection and looks into the textural and tactile finishes, another area of the design which sets Dan’s apart.

Once the design is set the next part of this experience begins……… and again another area where Dan’s team shine. The installation team (Mark and Tim) swing into action with military like precision. From ensuring the installation has minimal impact to the rest of the house and even their willingness to work around other trades persons in the same room. The attention to detail and care taken to ensure the fitment of the kitchen is impeccable…….. but even with the fine tuning of the installation the install team are also considerate with a few minor design tweaks and changes which they easily implement without impact to the installation schedule.

Dan where able to provide a straight forward service with clear engagement across the entire project which resulted in a very much appreciated final result.

Dan Kitchens has our greatest admiration and thanks for their professional service. From design to installation and after sales service, we have only the highest praise for everyone we had contact with. There is just no comparison with other companies or tradespersons. They are highly efficient, competent, courteous, arrive when they say they will, take their shoes off at the front door, clean up every day before they leave I could go on. Matt and Mitch installed our kitchen, and I missed their company when they finished! They take an obvious pride in their work. I am so glad we took my sister's recommendation to have Vagn design and install our kitchen. I don't think this kitchen will ever wear out, but we would never consider going to anyone else if it did.

We were drawn to Dan Kitchens after seeing their designs in magazines and on Houzz. Upon visiting their showroom, Daniel spent well over an hour with us explaining the process of designing a kitchen and highlighting some of the features that Dan provide above other kitchen companies. He was highly professional and took such pride in his work. We knew we would end up with a quality kitchen. After coming to our home and listening to our specific needs he completed a fabulous design that we were very happy with. Every minute detail was confirmed with him prior to it moving to the production stage so there were no surprises at the end. This is very reassuring. The production team headed by Greg and the installation team by Mark were just as professional and careful. Our kitchen was completed on time and looks stunning. From start to finish they were fabulous. We could not recommend Dan Kitchens more highly.

This is not the first time we have chosen Dan Kitchens for our home project. We came across Dan kitchens back in 2006 and after our initial meeting with Vagn Madsen we knew we had come to the right place!

This time round, our project was a complete rebuild of an older house located in Glenbrook (lower Blue Mountains). We started with the demo around Easter 2016 and finished 12 months later.

The standard and quality in build was of primary importance with a particular focus on detail and finish. The choice for us to engage Dan Kitchens second time round was really easy and again, Vagn Madsen worked with us on the design and managed the project through his exceptional team.

The scope included the kitchen, laundry, bathrooms, wardrobes and bespoke cabinetry throughout. The total spend was about 20% of the project cost and certainly was not the cheapest quote. The finish though makes such an impressive statement that accentuates the overall design and build.

We both believe Vagn’s joinery experience and his attention to detail makes all the difference in the final appearance and point of difference… Without doubt It enables the house to be the best it can be!

Thank you to Vagn and his dedicated team for making this journey enjoyable and memorable. We look forward to enjoying the finished product for many years to come.

Didn't actually get to the kitchen buying experience because as soon as we walked in we were judged on the company vehicle we arrived in. Apparently their kitchens aren't "Holden's" but "porsches" and we should leave and go to nobbys kitchens who would suit us better.
I'm hoping it wasn't the owner who judged us straight and turned us away.
Maybe if we drove our BMW in(which I don't like driving in bad weather) we would have actually been able to start the design process.
and yes mate, if you are reading this we are after a high quality kitchen for our Home but we will take our "$70k" somewhere else

This is my story with Dan Kitchens, I went to their showroom back in 2013 and the kitchens present in their showroom absolutely impress me so I said to myself if I ever gonna build my house, they are the one gonna be building my kitchen.

So in 2016 & 2017, I had Dan Kitchens to design and install one indoor kitchen and one outdoor kitchen for me, and surely they didn't disappoint me. Neat, Precise, Efficient and Punctual are what I have seen from their installation crew (Matt & Mitch), they deserve the compliment; and I am thankful that I had Vagn, Daniel and Bente that design and give me advice for my kitchens.

Words can not explain how good they are, if you wanting a kitchen that can add value to your house, can enjoy using it in daily life and keeps its look for a long period of time, Dan Kitchens Australia is the one you should choose.

Reading other reviews of Dan’s Kitchen here online, the superlatives seem to be exhausted. And deservedly so. We could not be happier with the professionalism of the Dan’s team and the quality of their design and workmanship, not to mention their very genuine and personal touch.

The centerpiece and the space which is the focal point of all family life in our newly renovated home, and from which we gain daily satisfaction, is the Dan’s Kitchen. The kitchen design that Arthur somehow was able to conceive whilst standing amidst the carnage and detritus of a demolition zone, was incredibly creative and something that we still marvel at after more than a year of daily use. Just light years ahead of what we ourselves were able to conceive of, and a design that transcends the kitchen itself and redefines the entire living space.

When it came to choosing materials and surfaces, Bente had superb judgement, clear opinions and was quite open in sharing them. Some things look good on day one but less good on day 100, and by day 1000 you will probably hate them. You absolutely need someone with the experience and the fortitude to tell you stuff like this, and we found it wonderfully refreshing not to be pandered to.

The installation team, headed by Greg, were exemplary. The standard of their work was faultless and they coordinated seamlessly with the main builders working in the rest of the house renovation. The renovation builders even acknowledged to us, having run their eyes over the various surfaces and joins of the new kitchen, how impressed they were with the quality of the product and the installation, and they themselves asked for Dan’s contact details.

Naturally we would be entirely happy to provide a detailed reference and to recount our experience to anyone who is considering the installation of a quality kitchen. We could write five pages telling you how impressed we are, but perhaps the fact that there is one testimonial you can read here online from a satisfied customer who has used Dan’s Kitchens on five previous occasions tells the better story. They are superb.

We have a small apartment kitchen. Many firms were unwilling even to give us a quote because they considered the project size (and our budget) to be too small to be worth their while. Dan Kitchens was willing to work with both, cleverly fitting all we needed into the space and keeping to our bottom line. Everyone we worked with, from Vagn, the owner of Dan Kitchens and head designer, through to the labourers on site, was polite, professional and utterly competent. Each day the team attended the site they left the kitchen cleaner than we ever do. The project was finished beautifully and on-time.

Dan and his team provided us fantastic service right from walking into the showroom door. The design process was so easy with Dan's vast bank of ideas and great assistance with selection of components, fixtures and finishes.

The installation team were fanatical, everything had to be perfect, as well as being friendly, helpful and always polite.

Congratulations to Dan for having a truly dedicated team that all strive for perfection in creating kitchens that are unique and beautifully designed.

We have been using Dan Kitchens for more than fifteen years and our most recent project was the fifth. Dan Kitchens are simply the best. On the first day they came to install a large storage cupboard, we saw their commitment to quality when they spent an entire morning getting the cupboard base perfect. Today it looks as good as the day it was installed almost sixteen years ago. Next came our complete eat-in kitchen and display unit. It was beautiful then and is still beautiful fifteen years later. It is wonderfully functional and we wouldn't change a thing. A linen cabinet followed and then a series of storage cupboards. These include a most ingenious piece of design of a false cupboard which hides a doorway to roof space and yet provides unimpeded access - a really great piece of design. The last project was the most difficult, a glass door display cabinet to fit in a triangular space under a staircase. The design and construction surpassed all their previous efforts and as a result we have a stunning display cabinet with a very functional storage area below. Vagn and Arthur are superb designers who work closely with their clients to ensure complete satisfaction. Both construction and installation are benchmarks of quality and precision. They do the job exactly on time. But beyond this they are helpful and friendly in all sorts of ways, even fixing problems not of their own making without a second glance. If you want the best go to Dan Kitchens.

Outstanding design and unbeatable quality. I still love my kitchen and am thankful every day that I entrusted such an important part of my home to the best in the business. Service has been exemplary from initial contact, installation and then follow up servicing. Don't settle for less!
