I wish I had taken more photos. The Lodge is fantastic and made all the more incredible by the amazing hosts. The food, atmosphere and beverages were great. David even tweaked the dessert menu to suit us. The rooms are lovely - the basin in the bathroom is gorgeous! Cant wait to go back!

An absolutely terribly run lodge. Waste of money.

    Very overpriced and rude hosts.

Superb cabins right in the Daintree forest. Our hosts were the most friendly and helpful. The maintenance is kept high and we can recommend anyone to stay here. We were visited by a young wild cassowary who provided photo opportunities for us. The wilderness lodge's use of elevated walkways is fantastic for the forest.
Remember to drive slower around the Daintree area to avoid hitting an endangered cassowary.

This place is amazing. So beautiful - you really feel like you're in the thick of the rainforest. Our host, Sirli went above and beyond for us in terms of maximizing our time here and booking adventures. Thank you so much Sirli!!

This place is perfect for a natural getaway. When we arrived we could hear nothing but the occasional ant dropping onto the roof of our car. The tree canopy is surreal. We stayed in one of the cabins furtherest out into the forest. If your lucky like we were to see a Cassowary in the forest from the safety of the walkways. We had dinner nearly every night here and it was great, also because you can see Monte the python curled up in the rafters.

I loved our stay. This place is roughly in the middle of everything too. The staff are amazing and were completely accommodating. I was impressed by the rooms too. The pictures they have online just don't show enough justice. We were able to wake up to the sound of birds and seen a few right out our door. Few frogs graced us with their presence too. I highly recommend this place over any North of the River crossing (23 dollars rt). I think there are a total of 8 cabins so you will not be around a bunch of noise/people either. Complete relaxation. Do the river tour with "Mic" he knows his stuff!
