Just off the main road but straight into the rainforest. Being family orientated made it quite noisy however sleeping in the forest was worth it. Cabins also have thin walls so you can hear your neighbours.
No internet or tv suits the venue, dont change that.
    Steve was very helpful.

Great place in the forest for authentic wild experience and sleeping under forest animal sounds. No internet though, but best for real experience!

A great low cost family/travellers place, halfway to being a hostel, with large private canvas cabins. Night walk a highlight. Self catering option.

You are essentially staying in the midst of the rain forest which is pretty spectacular. Accommodation is basic, but clean and comfortable, with a good communal area for eating and having a few beers.

    No wi-fi or phone reception.

I recently stayed here for 5 days with my partner to celebrate our anniversary. We booked a private double room but unfortunately it was far from private. All accommodation has walls made of plastic sheet so you're sleeping next to 3 other couples who are under the same roof. We could hear our neighbours breathing makes for a bad nights sleep if there's a big group staying nearby. Its definitely not a place to relax with your partner on holiday, it's more like a hostel!

Other than the room, the self-cater kitchen and communal area were good. Management was friendly!

Owner/manager very rude and quite unfriendly to deal with. Totally ruined the atmosphere. You're better off finding somewhere else to stay.

A great atmospheric and welcoming hideaway in the rainforest. Owners Sally and Steve are really friendly. Steve does a very entertaining and informative guided night walk through the forest. They can also help with arranging other activities.

We stopped here for a coffee before leaving Daintree and found an incredibly friendly and knowledgeable owner who gave us great tips for the Atherton Tablelands and made us one of the best coffees I had for a long time. Well worth the stop and way beyond expectations. Thanks!

We stayed in a dorm room and just loved our experience! The beds were very comfy and we enjoyed nights listening to the rain and bird calls. One of the highlights to our stay was the local baby cassowary whom the staff informed us of and were lucky to see. The staff were exceptional and helpful. We highly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.
