Great concept, enjoyed overnight stay, nice breakfast, facilities very nice, quiet stay as no else else there the night we stayed. Unfortunately room was quite dusty.we all had blocked noses in the morning and were itchy overnight. The flamingo bird (Or whatever it was) standing in the tote bucket was very sad to see.poor chap needs a pond. But overall loved seeing the animals and the friendly wallabies up close really were the highlight. With a little bit more effort this would be a fantastic place to stay
Great experience for young kids as the rooms open out onto the zoo and you can visit the animals any time which is pretty special when the kids first wake up. What let's it down is the very basic rooms and the external toilets. It wasn't clear on the website that the toilets were outside the rooms and shared which made it difficult for kids to go to the toilet during the night. The 50% off zoo entrance is also a bit of a joke as it is still over $60 for a family and the zoo is very basic. Would recommend if you want the experience of waking up with the animals but not if you want comfortable accommodation.
Wonderful clean room and the hosts Gil and Donna were so friendly and helpful. Loved it. Highly recommended
