Third stay here now in last few years and again, outstanding.

Rooms are spacious, modern and very comfortable. Bed almost too good to get out of! Nice quiet air conditioning.

Bathroom impeccable - it was good before and looks like has been renovated.

Spotlessly clean all over.

Little touches like complimentary chocolates, the larger than usual TV and room windows opened for fresh air on arrival all cap off nicely.

Yes, the motel is on a major highway - probably the second busiest in Victoria in fairness (Melb - Adelaide link). But the front wall and well built rooms do a good job of blocking the vast majority of road noise. You hear about the same as the quiet rumble of a suburban road. So don't let that put you off.

Finally, location. I lived in Stawell so I often come back to visit the area. The motel is well located for those just passing through - and is a two minute drive from town. If you are staying for the Grampians, you'd be hard pressed to find better.

Finally, the price. At just $80 a night, a bargain. Rooms like this in the city would be easy $200. A very affordable stay as contrasted to more expensive spots in the Grampians.

Friendly service, clean room with comfy bed. Road noise wasnt an issue and I am a light sleeper. Definitely would stay again.

Stayed here for a head start on a trip to adelaide. Bed: nice & comfy with a great electric blanket. shower: hot & great pressure with a decent sized cubical. Towels were nice & soft with a lovely fresh clean scent. room: refurbished with modern touches which is overall very clean. There is some truck noise being on a main route but unless ur a light sleeper isnt a bother at all. Price: very reasonable little cost for a room that feels like home with hotel owners that couldnt do enough for us as we were a late check in. The room heater was on & everything ready for us to just hop into bed to get the best sleep ready for a continuation of our road trip. Thanks!

Basic but clean room and amenities. Bed was comfortable. Being on the highway, most from traffic was quite loud. Reception service was friendly, we checked in and checked out quickly with no fuss.
