Clean and tidy rooms, food quality was excellent and the potions are massive for the price, staff were friendly are more than happy to help out with anything you needed.

Great place to stay and will be my go to in Mackay, a real positive experience and couldn’t recommend it enough.

The rooms where basic, but they were clean, smelt good, had a small fridge, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, TV, kettle, tea/coffee, free wifi, breakfast included (cooked to order), parking, close to amenities e.g., pub, bus, fast food e.g.,subway, fish n chips. Close to a Coles & only a 5 min bus ride to Canelands central. Staff/management friendly & accommodating. Pool on premises as well. Excellent value for money.

This motel is my stopover on my way from Townsville to Rockhampton. it is comfortable and the staff are fabulous. It is a family run business and will do every thing they can do to make your stay with them a memorable one. Cooked breakfast of eggs to your liking and bacon and cereal and toast. Dinner is home cooking at its best. Room rates are very reasonable with breakfast included in the price. I won't stay anywhere else.

For the price you could not get better value for money, with breakfast cooked fresh for you every morning. The staff are friendly and the service is great.

Neat, clean but smallish room. Nice touches such as the cedar louvres but lacking the more obvious expectations of a 5 star stay. Pool was across from my door and can be noisy, be aware if you need quiet. Dinner was delicious, $25 for eye fillet steak is exceptional value. Breakfast included in the tarriff was cooked to my request and very good. Central to shops, a nice evening stroll. On the whole a pleasant stay with a great meal making up for the lack of 'polish'.

My wife and myself stayed a week at The Rose Comfort Inn at Mackay during the recent cyclone "Debbie" we were very impressed with the service and how the owners and staff made you feel at home, we also dined at their restaurant and found it to be very good as well, we will be staying there anytime in the future that we find ourselves in Mackay overnight, they coped very well with problems that were caused by the cyclone, I will be recommending them to all of my fiends and anybody thinking of staying in Mackay, we also found that their tariff and cost of meals to be very reasonable.

Very friendly, it's like staying at a best friends place. Rooms are very tidy ,breakfast was excellent, dinner was exceptional. It's a real family place that's really affordable, it's a shame I'm only here for a couple days. Next time I'm in Mackay it's a definite and I would recommend it to anyone.
