Nice caravan park, good location. However the lady made me pay more than I supposed to. When I noticed it I asked to have my money back (it was her mistake) but she didn't. Unpleasant experience. If you want to run a business you have to be fair and not that greedy.

Just a great park, nice and quiet too, management were a great help also and close to everything. To sum up 4 out of 5 and l would definitely stay there again.

Bev was very helpful, welcoming and friendly. The park was well looked after and clean, showers were huge. Ducks and lorikeets vist daily, will definitely stay there again plus cheap rates too close to shops

We moved to the Premier Caravan Park in Mackay after a bad experience at The Marina Park. Since arriving here we have found the Park to be extremely well run with trouble makers being dealt with fairly and promptly. The management is very proactive and the park is a very pleasant place to stay.Even though the park is old the amenities and surrounding grounds are kept to a very high standard. The previous comments regarding the management being being friendly with the problem makers seems unlikely as we have been here for 4 months and they have always conducted themselves in a professional manner. As an older couple I can assure you we would not be here if the park was not well run. I would recommend this park to anybody looking for a good long term stay as well as overnight you will enjoy it .

Stayed there very recently, Great place if you like the noisy drunks that are near the amenities area. Drinking and noise until pretty late. Seem to be friends of the manageress since she hangs out with them. Not a recommended place at all if you enjoy peace and quiet. Was good 18 months ago, but gone downhill.Stay at your own risk.

Arrived one month ago, we are living the next 3 here, at Premier Caravan Park. We are very lucky to be there because the management is awesome with us. We're from France and are travellers. We found a job in Mackay, and as we only have a car, we had to find a place to put our tent. We have known this park, because it's on a main road, very accessible. The managers (John & Kathleen) are really, really friendly and nice and they do a lot for this park. They helped us to up the tent, and to feel comfortable. We spend time with them, like a second family.They are very open-minded. Bathrooms are cleaned every day and each site/cabin has is own bin emptied twice per week. We are very happy to live here!
