Nice comfortable, clean rooms for budget price. Very friendly and accommodating staff who were actually thankful about hearing about a small problem not worth mentioning. Renovations on the go, look forward to coming back. Module showers could do with removable hand held shower roses.

A reasonable well located place that allowed us to visit the sites of Mackay. The wifi was string and allowed for decent service. Even though you are next to the airport and highway, the setting is reasonably quiet.
The room really needs an update. When you walk in, it is like you have returned to the 1970s. Furniture, bed, bath. The shower area is quite small. There was also a lizard in the room, it did not bother us but you knew it was somewhere.response / report this review -

This is a really beaut motel for location and modest lodgings. Walking distance to the Canelands shopping centre, only 100m from HomeField Nursing Home {for folk outside of town wishing to visit a relative} and 30m to KFC. What more can you ask for. :-)
