Attentive staff even on a busy weekend. Good selection on aquariums, products and fish reasonable prices. Definitely the biggest range of aquariums I’ve seen at a aquarium shop. The fish are healthy too and tanks look clean, this is my new go to place.

My online order was well packed and arrived in a timely fashion. All the fish were alive. I would have liked to get an email to let me know that my order and been received and when it was sent, though.

Very good service and a very wide range of fish. This is definitely my favourite place to buy fish because all of the staff are very helpful and even when it's busy, the service is great.

The best aquarium in the north, period. Great variety of stock, incredibly helpful staff, and most importantly - they take looking after fish seriously and go out of their way to ensure everything works for you.
Still remember when I first bought my tank, and could not get the pump working. A staff member drove to my house after finishing work to help me get it up and running. All for free. Can't believe the levels these guys go to.response / report this review -

Been getting marine fish from here for a while now. They have a very good range of fish which are generally healthy. I always get good customer service from a bloke called Ben who is a character and a highlight of this aquarium. Having seen a fair few aquariums I do believe that this aquarium is slightly overpriced and desperately requires a renovation as it is generally quiet worn out and has an outdated feel to it. But all in all I would recommend this place to any aquarium hobbyist.

I've been dropping into Coburg Aquarium over the last year while I set up an aquarium with my family. I wasn't sure what to expect as there seem to be some negative reviews out there, but my experience has been great.
Sure, sometimes they're a little busy and you have to wait for assistance, but they've got a 'take a number' system in the fish room and I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes.
Staff are really helpful, provide good advice on equipment and stock, and always have a few interesting facts for my son (& me!).
There's a huge variety of fish stock, and prices seem pretty good (especially the bulk specials). Prices on other products seem ok too.
Mostly on advice from the folks at Coburg, I've set up a 240L freshwater tropical tank (with pretty much zero prior experience) without any casualties.

Great team of people there.. i went there to have a customised aquarium made. It turns out that what i required was a little to difficult to do. Byron and the team were very honest with me and they gladly refunded my deposit.
Nonetheless i will continue to shop there to fit out the rest of my tank when i get it made eventually.

Great range of supplies, fresh water salt water and reptiles. Prices are ok not the cheapest but has a huge range. Shrimps are pretty low quality

Our one stop fish shop, has everything and a great range of fish and plants along with high quality products, all fish we have purchased here have been reasonably priced and in great health!

Great selection of fish. Knowledgeable staff and everything is very clean. We only shop here for fish and drive out of our way to go here because we like it so much.

Great shop, both for fish and reptiles.
Reptiles are kept in a separate room, which is clean and has no smells. All the reptiles and cages are spotless and healthy and staff are very knowledgeable, both about the species they carry and the individuals in their care.
The fish are all healthy, no white-spot, no illness that I could see.
Lots of staff around who come to check whether you need help.
All-around a great first visit and I'm sure it will be our go-to aquarium now that we live near the area.
Also, even though it's on Bell St, Coburg there's off-street parking behind the store, which is a bonus.
