No other property in Hunter Valley comes closer to what Chateau Elan has to offer. Its the most beautiful and the biggest properties there. Service is excellent. Would love to visit again

Stayed for a weekend beautiful spot adjacent to a golf course. Best value for room service and drinks in the bar with an awesome array of Johnnie walker bottles for people interested with a reasonable selection of different drinks. We stayed in a first floor room and went for a spa the afternoon we got there, magnificent! I couldn't praise the staff enough very relaxed and friendly, definitely our pick for accommodation in the Hunter valley

Stayed in a spa room in the main building. New room and comfortable bed (with massage and adjust functions.) Service does not live up to a five star hotel (nobody greeted us and we had to unload and carry our bags to reception ourselves). Nice and peaceful surroundings with kangaroos right outside.

I booked one of their Villa rooms with King bed, it was a very nice modern spacious room/bathroom/balcony with space you can use to entertain friends and would definitely qualify as an apartment in some cities!

Jacuzzi tub in the well appointed and bedroom-sized bathroom offered a relaxing soak. Powerful shower did the rest of the work. I booked this hotel because I was looking for a place with an outdoor heated pool; based on the recommendation of one of the vineyards I was at. I ended up not even going to swim because of the hot Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom.

But apparently, they have an outdoor hot tub and a pool that's kept at 26ºC temperature (according to central reservations). Thick bathrobes and slippers were provided in the room. And being in Hunter Valley, they also offer 3 full-sized bottles of wine on their minibar menu (found on the in-room 10" Samsung tablet) if you don't already have your own and even a cheese board and knife for your own cheese. We had our own wine-and-cheese social in my room.

Room layout was excellent with 49" TV that rotates 180º to switch between bed view to living room view and a low row of cabinet/drawers to act as a divider. I took some good pictures because I was quite impressed with the place

Had a lovely stay at Chateu Elan. Enjoyed the Spa bath and the make up remover was a nice touch! Breakfast was lovely too. A small thing but on arrival the hand wash in the bathroom was out. A large group arrived that day (our group 100+) so you would think common room bathrooms would be well stocked.

Bathrooms need a good clean and exhaust vents. But I do love this place. The guys at the front desk are awesome. Dinner the The Legends Bar and Grill was amazing!

Accommodation is really nice and so is breakfast buffet. Well groomed gardens. Checkin guy wasn't up to scratch. No mobile signal. Wifi is free but seems to block YouTube and app store. No TV signal for first night.

The room was spacious and very tidy with a balcony that overlooked the golf course and the rest of the resort. Room service was always quick to arrive and the house keeping was done thoroughly. i highly recommend staying here if you plan to visit Hunter Valley.

Absolutely beautiful scenery and rooms. The villas were clean, large and very peaceful. Even the local kangaroos popped over for breakfast. Simply Perfect!
