  Good location for visiting the lical area. The staff were extremely friendly and the Restaurant food was excellent (we had the steaks). Accommodation is clean but basicwith shared lounge, kitchenette and toilets/bathrooms. Great for a stop over. It is over a pub so a bit noisy but woylsn't stop me going back. Good value too.

  Went there for dinner while in town for an event. Menu was great and food delicious. Good modern facilities and pleasant atmosphere. Recommend.

  Comfortable and clean budget accommodation. The accommodation had a shared common room with TV and Table tennis and kitchenette. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Hotel was located in the centre of town with parking on the premises. Would certainly stay there again.

  We stayed on the weekend of the Cheese Lovers Festival, was nice & close to where we needed to be, every staff member who served us was friendly, had dinner & drinks in the bar on the saturday night, food was fantastic & atmosphere was amazing. We did have the room directly above the music down stairs, but honestly we still slept great! rooms were clean & tidy & bathroom was immaculate, will definitely stay again & recommending you!

  Large clean rooms with acceptable beds, but monal furniture to hang costs and suits. No shampoo or conditioner supplied. Bathrooms could use larger bins and signage to ensure guests leave them clean and hair free.

  Visited on Valentine's Day - lovely balloons but more than that, and the really lovely food, and the quite good but inexpensive wine, was the outstanding service. . The auburn haired lady in the bistro was exceptional and the other waitstaff that I saw were also very good. . Add to that the beaming smile and memory of the blonde(ish) girl behind the bar and a simple pub meal became an experience that I look forward to repeating. . I hope those ladies are well appreciated by management. - they are a true assets. :-)

  Great food. Great value, meal was big and beautiful, I was disappointed I couldn't finish it because I was so full. Yum. Only negative which is very minor is I hate the tails left on my prawns. I really did enjoy the food though. Will defiantly b back.
