Would not recommend anyone using this company to charter a boat in the Whitsundays. They accepted no responsibility for serious maintenance issues with our boat which kept us in port for 3 nights of our 7 night holiday. Don't be fooled by their friendly customer service as it's non existent when the chips are down. We are looking forward to our next Whitsundays charter and Cumberland Charter Yachts will be our choice.

Best holiday we've ever had by far. Perfect weather, unbelievable scenery, fish everywhere, and a perfect boat to experience it in. The sailing catamaran Reflections is like a mobile home, with more room than you could imagine inside 45'.

I thought it might be a bit like camping, but it was more like an apartment on the water. Cooking facilities are great and there is more than enough fridge and freezer space for a week of food. The yacht is also very easy to manoeuvre and we quickly mastered dropping anchor or picking up a mooring. Don't worry if the winds aren't favourable as Reflections is perfectly capable of motoring where you need to go, and I was very surprised to only use 90 litres of diesel for an entire week, which includes running the motors to charge batteries and make hot water.

Definitely add a kayak or two and a maybe a paddle board, as these were very popular with everyone on-board. Hiring snorkelling equipment is also essential for the Whitsundays.

We can't thank the team at Charter Yachts Australia enough. Everything went like clockwork and the vessels are all perfectly turned out when you arrive to start your holiday.

Now we just have to work out when we can get more holidays from work to do it all again. There are so many places to explore in the Whitsundays that it would take months to see and do them all.

PS. The new blue underwater lights are fantastic and provided lots of entertainment at night with all the sea-life that was attracted to them.

Thank you Charter Yachts Australia !!!!! My husband, two girls and I had an amazing time onboard "Divocean". We could have taken a couple of more people with us because of the space inside. the front deck was a big hit as a relaxing / fishing space and the upper deck made a great observation deck (perfect for spotting the whales ) Many thanks once again and we will see you again soon .

We had a great time with Charter Yacht Australia. The service was great and the girls were always helpful in the early planing stage. We had not bare boated before so we did not know what to expect! the boat was very clean and stoked with all the essentials you would expect of a holiday house. Its was such a wonderful experiences and the scenery was amazing we will definitely be bring our family back to the Whitsundays again. Thanks Charter Yacht for such an amazing experience!

We enjoyed every minute of our time on Reflections. Everything was how it should be, and there was a nice soothing voice on the radio scheds each morning and evening for us first-time charterers. It was a wonderful way to spend some time away with friends and the boat itself was well worth the extra indulgence. Compared to any other boat I've been on there was sooooo much fresh water, fridge and freezer space a plenty, and clean: it was like being in a holiday unit!

We've just returned from a magical one week bare boat charter on a Jeanneau 439. The boat was practically brand new and the facilities first class. We found CYA really easy to deal with and our boatie, Rick, was really helpful and very friendly. We will be back.
