We have just enjoyed a 7 night Whitsunday cruise on 'Dreamtime Princess' through QYC - a fabulous experience. The company is professional, efficient, informative and great fun to deal with. The vessel was comfortable and in excellent working order. The whole experience was great. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend QYC or charter through them again.

Excellent! The boat was well maintained, clean and just what we were after. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. We would use QYC again.

    Promised a dream - delivered a Nightmare !

Sadly not a positive story - after booking and paying many many months in advance, 7 days from the Whitsunday charter start we received an email, yes, that's right an email ! - cancelling our trip due to problems with the boat and sighting an inability to cross hire. Understandably the entire family was very hurt and let down at the manner and style of communication - zero customer service and no phone call until started chasing them. just cold hard business - you can have your money back or reschedule, but tough luck with any of your associated sunk costs, non refundable airfares, paid accommodation components.etc

"that's what insurance is for, its not our problem" - try claiming insurance with airline tickets because a third party at your point of destination has failed to supply, you will be introduced to a myriad of obscure exclusion clauses - we certainly were. !

This is a cautionary tale - please learn from our experience and choose your charter provider very very wisely !!!

Had a lovely time on the Bali 4.3 Renaldo in Oct 2015. All 8 passengers had plenty of space,- the dining and recreational aspects of the boat were the standout. Large fridge / freezer , good headroom throughout, Smallish sails so can't get into any trouble no matter what the wind. In particular the marine staff were excellent, - very thorough pre sail brief and very helpful when trip was finished.

Just back in dark and wet UK having spent an amazing week sailing around the Whitsundays on board Gypsy Rose II. Lovely yacht with great facilities, really comfortable with everything thought of. Great efficient service from QYC including the very detailed and helpful briefing from Scott. Great value, would highly recommend!! (Only thing I would say is that the 3rd bedroom is very very small, even for one person, so bear this in mind if hoping to use it as a double room)

We have just returned from a week (11/15) in the Whitsundays aboard 'Sea Assta' it was a perfect boat for a couple, it is an oldie but is very well maintained and was easy to handle as a couple (novices) allowing plenty of time to relax. It was a 'bucket list' experience which I couldn't recommend more highly, the weather was great, the staff were always friendly and happy to help which added to the experience. And the photos made all our friends very jealous. Can't wait to go again next time we might even take the kids.
