I did 2 days sailing with boat Spank Me to Whitsundays
The captain is very good at navigating and sailing but he shouldn't be working with customers. He's absolutely one of the worst people I've ever met! He threatened people to throw their belongings in the ocean, he threatened people to send them home next day, he threatened people to give them a fine, he humiliated people, he said a lot of rude things to the passengers and so on. He told us how terrible passengers we were at every "briefing" and it's impossible to discuss with him. It's his way or the highway. Every time he stepped in to the room, everybody stopped to talk. People was afraid of him.. I have more examples and can continue much more. The boat was leaking from the roof (A LOT) so all our stuff were soaking wet. Jacksson and the german guy was fantastic! Friendly, helpful, understanding, easygoing and professional. Jacksson's food was 5/5!
This was suppose to be the last big and fun thing me and my best friend did after our 3 months of travelling. We drove 2000km just for this and spent nights at hotel. i wish i didn't do this trip, even if it was for free! 2 of my friends are going to Whitsundays and I've told them this story in details so they are absolutely not going with this boat. I have 10 more months of travelling and im going to continue to tell people to avoid this boat..
It's time for the grumpy captain to retire.

Our Captain Paul was great, knowledgeable polite and informative, he took us to all the best snorkeling points at the best times. The cabin was cramped and hot (to be expected). Unfortunately our deck hand didn't seem to know what she was doing, came across quite flustered and overwhelmed by her job, being patronising and snappy with the customers.

The best experience I’ve had in Australia! I did the Avatar tour, it was incredible.
The captain, Zack and Melissa were all amazing hosts, friendly and fun. We saw the most beautiful things and the boat is so nice!! The food is great but was a bit sparse, although we had 18 boys and only 8 girls so maybe that’s why. Just bring snacks if you’re worried. Definitely bring a jumper for the evenings! If you’re solo you have to share a bed with someone which could be awkward but I made the best friends on this trip so it was fine! There are USB ports to charge your phone/Camera!

Such a fun and satisfying trip. I was on Mandrake with Greg and Zack who are outstanding - a total team, both super friendly, none of that awkward tour guide vibe you sometimes get. I had lovely chats with both of them about life and Australia and their histories as surfers and sailors. We didn't have a party group which was perfect for me, just casual beers at night. The food was unbelievable - I couldn't believe what Zack could cook up! I hate pasta and especially tomato sauce and the bolognese blew me away. Great price for the Whitsundays too, especially for the snorkeling spots. Wouldn't recommend for older or less agile tourists (as climbing up and down the stairs can be a bit treacherous with the waves) or for party people, since there's literally no privacy, but for me as a late-twenties traveller it was perfect!

SPANK ME (6-8.12.17)
Old boat but the staff is from another world! Good and enough food! Mattress was really good. BYO is allowed but it's not a party boat. Lots of activities during the sailing days. Captain had 12 years of experience.
We woke up at 5-6 in the morning to be the first at the Whitehaven beach which was great. Depending on the day, I think it can get really crowded!
Only thing that could make the snorkelling better would be newer equipment :)

Great boat! Clean and comfy with no ‘lean’. If you sometimes get seasick, you don’t have to worry about that on here. Lots of outside space for socialising and sunbathing, however the sun can be quite relentless and there’s no shade so take lots of suncream and a hat. At 36 I was by far the oldest of the group, but the vibe was friendly and chilled; we had drinks together and there was actually decent music - but not crazy parties. Moving around on the boat and walking from the drop off point to Whitehaven beach might be challenging for anyone less able to climb steps and ladders, I struggled being a few months post ACL op. Food was good, and there was plenty of it.

100% biggest and best boat out there! Perfect mix of party and chill. Sonny and his crew were awesome and the dive spots were sick! Wish I could do it again and again!

I loved my 2nights stay!! ❤️ I slept sooo muxh in the boat! We covered everything that needed to be ;) food amazing for being on the boat! I strongly raccomend to anyone who does not want to be on a party boat, great vibes and time!

The skipper Sam knew all about the Whitsunday Islands and the best spots to snorkel, he has a great sense of humor and excellent music choice. Our deck mate and cook Laura and Jordie made living on the boat one to remember and the meals were delicious! The 2days 2 nights trip was the best choice, not much rocking and tons of fun and laughter. I would definitely recommend this adventure to friends and family and would participate in this experience again!

My Experience on Spank Me was unbelievable, so much fun with the crew and the Whitsundays was just amazing! Beautiful boat for sailing. Snorkelling was top notch too!!

OzSail is such a great company. They took us to the best snorkelling spots and the food was amazing. Saw some turtles and alot of beautiful marine life ❤🐢

Had a great trip on the "spank me" boat, done lots of snorkelin on a few nice spots, had a great crew and the food was not to bad. Great atmosphere onboard, chill, not a party boat!

Best trip ever, snorkelled in some beautiful locations. Went to Hill Inlet and took some photos of whitehaven beach. so so cool.
The skipper and crew were great to, I have best time in Aus here.
