  Highly recommended! The hosts were absolutely fantastic. Very welcoming and extremely helpful. Perfect for those who are doing the Hinchinbrook Island trek. I stayed there 2 separate days in the week and the rooms were immaculate each time. Great place. Definitely will stay there again may I go to Cardwell again!

  Im working nights and I found my room very quiet, Steve was very good in showing us around. Rooms are spacious and very clean.

  Great place very friendly hosts Janet & Steve made us feel very welcome (kiwis of course)
  The room was immaculate one of the cleanest I've seen in a long time.
  The hotel is very well maintained with amazing gardens all well cared for.
  Will definitely be staying here again and would highly recommend it for anyone thinking of visiting Cardwell.

  Great clean rooms and well furnished. The owner, I think Janet was very friendly and accommodating. Cardwell is arguably the prettiest coastal town in Australia and well worth the stop. Next time I pass through I will be staying here at the Beachfront Motel again!

  A delightful historic little town with a lovely beachfront and well landscaped foreshore. Not a swimming beach however due to crocs. But pretty and scenic. The rooms are well appointed clean and comfortable. The owners very friendly and helpful. Finally great value too. We wish had a longer stay.

  An amazing place, stayed for 2 nights, the hosts are very friendly and help with anything!
  
  Location couldn't be better, right off the main road, great views over the ocean and islands. Very quiet, clean and modern.

  You can't beat this location, absolute beachfront, the sunrise is worth getting up for! The hosts (Janet & Steve) made us feel so welcome, nothing was a problem and the rooms were spotless. All the little touches, like having green tea in our room and cold water in the fridge was appreciated. We will be back :)
