Reviewing on behalf of a fellow Glory supporter who was singled out from the rest of us, deemed "intoxicated" and forced to leave. If the bouncer had have talked to us like they're supposed to, we could have given an alternative explanation for his animated talking or whatever the problem was. Like maybe that he was from Melbourne and not familiar with the requirement in Sydney CBD to not be slightly animated or passionate about football because it will be interpreted as intoxication. Thanks for ruining his weekend trip away, A-hole.

The place is not even worth $15/night cause you can barely sleep. The mettras is thin like a paper. I felt like I was a steak on the grill tray, each steel bed frame pressed strongly my back. Once the bar live music finally finish at midnight, there comes some over-excited travelers keep partying until maybe 5h (do not know where exactly in the hostel, anyway you can hear their music clearly in your room). With the noisy of cars, you will feel that the night is even longer than the day cause you can't sleep but there is nothing you can do Even more tired the second day when I m out of there.

The hostel is awful. I went in some other hostels before but never awful like this one. The mattress is very thin so you can feel the metallic structure of the bed when you sleep. I asked to the reception twice to have sheets The room smells bad and you can hear easily the road. Worst hostel in the world

Stopped for a quick drink this afternoon. Only 1 bar person serving, who was on the phone. Didn't acknowledge us and just stayed on the phone. We waited 5 mins and left. Disappointing to say the least. Went to the 3 Weeds instead, much happier experience !!

Bouncer was poorly trained in his job and customer service. We walked in a designated entrance and was told to walk around to the other side of the hotel. Zero common sense. I was there to eat and leave, not drink. Food was average at best. Small portions and salad was an sfter thought for them.

Great location, 20 minutes walking from central. Very friendly staff, clean facilities. Activities organized by hostel, shared areas with TV, movies and books and a kitchen. There is a pub below where live bands may play till midnight, consider that ;) 50 AUD key deposit. Free drink voucher included. Only downside: The worst mattress I ever slept on.
