Right next door to beautiful Holloway's Beach. Good accommodation, reasonable rates. Each room is different so some better than others. Close to bus stop, local shops, takeaways, bottle store and grocery.

Lovely resort for the price, but the kitchen was not stocked well. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful but closed every day at noon. You need to plan your visit well to get what you need. There were fresh muscle type creatures the locals called "Museli" on the beach that you can gather and cook everyday if you want. We did ours with garlic and olive oil and ate them over noodles. Yummy

Nice cozy 1 bedroom with wide living room and fully equipped kitchen. So helpful staffs for booking all of actives what i wanted. swimming pool just front of holloway beach.

Hired a car so convenient. not too close to all the noise of downtown but not too far away either. A beach across the road. GREAT kitchen to cook our own meals.

Great place that was really cheap for sharing rooms with friends on a trip. The man at the reception is extremely nice and friendly. He guided us to all the places around town and to the city and gave us a bus schedule and map and highlighted and explained how to get everywhere. Always asked if we had a nice trip or if we needed anything! The rooms we had were clean and very well equipped especially the kitchen! The only thing is that the beach its advertised to be 3 mins away from is not swimable and really dirty so don't expect to go in the water!

Too far from the city, and if you don't have a car, you have to pay aproximately 35 dollars no go where everything hapens. WiFi is free, whitch is good. No room service, and no good restaurants close. Apartment is only okay. Loundry and kitchen facilities. A lot of flies and bugs, and at night, A LOT of frogs. If you are visiting cairns for the first time DON'T stay there. It's too far! There are a lot of good hotels in the city and the best place to stay is near Esplanade St.
