I went there with family as usual, for the first time on a Wednesday and i regretted the decicion.

Staff was young and clearly not job focused.
We took a seat on a very visible table and we didn't get any customer service for a good 20min. Eventually I went to pick up a menu, asked for the soup of the day and, If we could be served anytime soon.

the waitress brought us tap water, and had lipstick on.

I have to mention that food was great as always. Unfortunately the problem is that the whole experience was affected by the waitresses.

Great food and great people! The morning deal is a tasty bargain to start your day with a bang.
Lunch menu is top quality too. Love the pulled pork burger and the risotto!

One of the few cafès left making fresh and delish Hollandaise sauce so I go for the eggs Benedict every time. Efficient and polite service and the coffee is solidly made, though working with a middle of the road bean. Not too busy weekday mornings so perfect for work related meetings etc.

Sydney and Melbourne cafe's are known for their all day breakfasts. Whether it's Sydney's Bills in Tokyo or Brunswick in Manhattan, the common theme in the Sydney/Melbourne cafe scene is decent espresso (tick) and all day breakfast.
Cafe Mosman doesn't serve all day breakfast. What???
An extra star though for being quaint and in a very good location. An all day breakfast, and this place would be 4.
