Great classic room, amazing views of the park! Close to NSW campus, shops and the beach! No dining, but the room is equipped for you to buy and store groceries (which is good for a corporate Traveller who doesn't want to eat out all the time). Staff is very nice. Free WiFi is fast, but uses annoying vouchers which I used up very quickly (more are free but it's a hastle to have to go down and ask, and when the desk is shut your SOL for the night).

I stay at quite a few hotels for work, and stayed here for the first time in early December 2016. Often hotels look better in photographs than in real life, but not for this one! The photographs don't do it justice. I enjoyed staying somewhere with a bit of character, but I don't mean run-down: rest assured it is still clean, not smelly, comfortable bed, plumbing works perfectly, etc.

Had a terrible night here. People had a party in the room next to us, asked them repeatedly to quiet down and could not find anyone in the office to help us. They did give us an extra room for the next night free of charge.
