  Hopeless and rude. We booked a car online and got a confirmation email “confirming” the booking and the car would be ready for us. On the appointed day we went to Lawson Street but couldn’t find any office, nor signage. We rang the number, but no answer. After repeated calls and an hour of hunting - fruitlessly - for the office, “Roy” answered the phone and were told that our booking request had been cancelled the previous day because no car was available. No phone call or SMS was sent, but we later found a message in our email spam folder. Rude and hopeless service from a hopeless and unprincipled operator who falsely advertises himself as having an office - when he plainly doesn’t, and can’t even be bothered calling customers when he cancels their bookings. What a knob! As it was after 2 wasted hours trying to do the right thing by this guy we went and rented a car from Hertz. $120 more and a morning wasted. This guy really is a joke. Recommend you avoid.

  Very friendly and useful service, good prices and allowed us to pick the car up after hours and even dropped us back off at our hotel afterwards.

  Booked the car online and paid for. Called to confirm the booking as it was short notice and wanted to be sure and confirmed all was ok.
  
  Tried to find the office to pick up and there isn't one, he meets you on the street and drops the car off, he turned up late and told us we would need to ensure the car was dropped back on time the next day. Car was ok but no aircon or a full petrol tank.
  
  On the last morning to drop the car off we were woken up to a call at 7 am saying we would need to drop the car off much earlier as he had double booked. All throughout the morning we received persistent calls to ensure and to check we would be early. We agreed to 1hr earlier as we had booked and paid for the full rental already. On drop off Roy was very rude just asked for the keys and drove off no customer service at all. And no thank you or refund for returning the car early.

  Roy was incredibly helpful and accommodating. We had an excellent experience with him.
  The car was in excellent condition and the price was very reasonable.
  Would definitely recommend to others who need a car in Byron Bay.
  (PS: His dog Charlie was adorable.)
