Pathetic customer service at BUNNINGS SUNSHINE Correction NO SERVICE provided. I was there today to buy sandbags which were placed too high on shelf to reach. No Bunnings workers were around. Had to walk to paint area to ask for help. Lady made announcement on intercome for assistance. Waited 10 minutes but NO ONE CAME AND ASSISTED. There were 10 staff there standing around, too busy talking to each other to lend assistance. It ended up using a step stool and a broom to try and reach for the sandbags. The whole box tipped over on me. Lucky they werent heavy. Could have been seriously injured. Sad thing is it was so quite ther and no cusonters around so there was no excuse for them not to hear announcement and lend assistance. Pathetic.

I had an easy shopping experience as I received assistance from its friendly staff. They made my shopping hassle less. It is big enough and still nite and tidy. The parking is not an issue as there are plenty room to park a car. It is located at the heart of Sunshine and close to the other shopping centres. Thanks.

Bunnings is a really nightmare. I mean come on! It should be great. But the staff are fairly useless and for a store that should have an aerator for a tap..they don't. I guess I should be glad. Nerita is one of the few that still shops here. And I just found out that my child is an emotional eater. Bye the way, here is my picture. I'm really so Helen Hunt. What a pun. Good store. Lovely, helpful staff, lots of specials. Picked up a fire pit for $40. Also got one of those Bunnings Lego like block sets for free. Heaps of parking, lots of stock. All Bunnings set up pretty much the same. Makes it easier to navigate. Just of Saint Albans Rd/ Ballarat Rd. Easy to get to.

New renovations are fantastic. The original Bunnings in Melbourne, finally in a condition that makes it enjoyable to shop at. Huge parking lot, well laid out floor plan, relaxed ardent centre. Will be spending all my weekends here, for the foreseeable future.

I was after a garden shed and was greeted by a young lad named Hien, he showed me exactly what I was after and what would work best for me in my backyard landscape. He took his time and offered great advice on soil and plant care for my two massive yucca trees and fence hedging. Overall I find the staff here to be very helpful and friendly and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this Bunnings.

New store but not much in detail. I am trying to find a bolt phillip head M6 12mm in metric. It Takes me 0.5 hour to work it out 15 mm length and the head is too big

Very good customer service, everyone takes the initiative to help, and if you look like your stuck they come to your service, not you after them. Everyone that attended to me was very helpful went out of their way and patiently attended to my requests, cashiers don't rush you.

Use to go to this Bunnings a lot and have so many receipts for many purchases, they completely fill a shoe box. I got shouted at by the bald guy with a mustache who works in the tool shop, after I tried to tell him there was something wrong with the bolts that got shipped with my compound Miter saw and stand, which I spent almost $500 on. I complained to the Head office and they promptly had the manufacturer identify the issue and sort it out. Was simple matter of the wrong size bolts packed with the saw. I had no issues with the fault with the manufacturer as they addressed the issue once it was brought to their attention. What I didn't like was a rude old man who wouldn't listen and then decided he wanted to shout at me. Bunnings HQ investigated the matter, apologized and said they would re-educate the person in question. So 4 stars to the Bunnings HQ Customer serviceman for sorting it out. But since this review is about Bunnings Sunshine. All I can say is I haven't back gone to this Bunnings since.

It's okay. Like most large shops staff can be quite hard to find. You generally need to hunt someone down and ask. Good range of products though.

One of the best outlets you will ever find. Lovely stuff and management as long as you can avoid the bald block head in the timberyard who comes in push bike.. Other than this stupid guy, the store is awesome enjoy your visit..

I hate to do this, not only was the customer service bad as well as rude attitude, but some of the staff members have very less knowledge about the things, as i was sent to the wrong direction multiple times.

Grumpy staff very sad no smiles and roll there eyes. Store Manager not great either. They hardly talk from the plumber to the cashier to the Managernot going back there. Sunshine Bunnings is rubbish and they are so far behind of customer service but Who am I saying this..The bloody customer!

I hate to do this but f**k Bunnings Sunshine. The guy overcharged me on a deposit to hire a ute of $300! A tall skinny young guy with glasses and a terrible attitude. I only found out I had been overcharged when I bought the Ute back and the good guy name Santiago (I think) was baffled at the amount of deposit I'd put down. When I told him I quoted the previous employee I was planning a 40km trip he said that 40kms is well within the limit of only a $200 deposit, so either this skinny worker didn't know how to do his job or he was just being a prick. I suspect he was just being a prick judging by his attitude, for example when I asked what type of rope I should buy to tie down the sofa I was picking up his immediate response was "Sorry, I can't tell you that because if anything happens to the sofa it's not our responsibility". I replied by saying "Mate, what about the bunnings advice?" in which he said "Oh, well just any rope should be fine then". See what I mean Instead of giving me helpful advice and following up with "But if anything goes wrong it's not our responsibility" his initial reaction is "sorry, can't help you". Not to mention he gave me a hard time on my ID - He didn't believe it was me in my passport and started handing it around to the other staff to double check. Total prick, this kid.

It was a pain in the ass calling a family member for a $300 loan to put a $500 deposit down but I thought was just the way it was. Apparently not. Santiago even said "$500 for a small trip is just ridiculous, you should have challenged him and asked where it says $500. I don't have $500 lying around for a deposit".

yeah, this kid just didn't want me hiring the ute. I've brought a ton of products here since I moved into my new house and it sucks they've got assholes like that working there.

I thought I could put up with a few things but I cannot anymore.

The customer service here has got to be the worst of any business I've been to.

I've been there multiple times only to come across staff who are rude, incompetent, and waste my time.

For example, one time I asked for help to find some lights but the old lady was very rude and disrespectful and said they didn't have the ones I want but I later found out on my own that they did. Makes you wonder what's the point of having these staff if they don't know what products they have or the behaviour and capacity to help.

This time, I had to wait over 15 minutes only to find out they didn't have any blank keys to cut. WTF! Why did I have to wait that long when they could've told me in less than a minute or 2?

Bloody useless time wasting staff. Sack the lot of them.
