Best in Sydney. Cleanest, most wholesome food I've eaten in a Cafe. Interesting choices, super great ingredients and solid beverage selection. Staff are like Melbourne level friendly to, which is rare here! B&C for President.

12.5% surcharge is a bad choice, understandable if it was Christmas day.

Food could've been amazing but I will never know. With so many great places to eat in Sydney, Competition is high.

Please don't waste your precious time here..
Terrible breakfast worst coffee in sydney region.
Scrambled eggs by itself was very nice but spinach tastes so bitter and the bread was a nightmare. Taste like rubber.
Pancakes. i just paid 20 bucks for 3 sliced strawberries. Haha

Lovely setting and friendly services. The menu isn't the best for breakfast. Very limited hot breakfast options and quite pricey. An additional 12.5% surcharge applies for Saturdays which isn't mentioned on the bill yet is calculated into it. Better places to go.

Ever feel like you don't have enough vegetables in your life? Come here. The beautiful part about this cafe is that everything is organic, straight from farm to table. Brilliant place, one of my favourites

Food was okay. Coffee and juices were good. They have a sign for ~12% extra charge on weekends, but they print out a menu specifically for Saturday, so it is a bit confusing whether Saturdays menu has the 12% surcharge included. Good choice if you are heading to Campos to get takeaway beans.

The happiest waiter on a Sunday morning greeted us with his contagious happy smile. This set an awesome mood for our brunch. And the food was wholesome and scrumptious! I'll happily come back for great service and lovely food

Indeed this is a place which favours the unhealthily healthy part of the population with vegetarian and vegan options gallore. Lovely environment and atmosphere, lots of produce pying everywhere, ideal for yummy mummies and health fanatics. Or vegetarian friends who need a change of venue. Not great if you want a traditional egg bacon and sausage breakfast. 4 stars for being different and otherwise good quality of food, but that's presupposing you can deal with 'alternative' food styles

Trying to force coffee with only milk no soy or lactose free option not a good move. Been coming here since before the official opening and food is always fantastic but if the owner has issues with coffee that customers want (ie soy) , probably a good idea to give the customers what they want. Staff are great Owner - not so much. And especially if you have to queue for an hour + for a table and then no coffee..especially with such good coffee available next door!

Loved this place the first time I went, wanted to show my husband on the weekend as I talked it up a lot. We arrived at 3pm on a Saturday as their website says they are open til 4. The kitchen had closed early because they had a quiet day. Extremely disappointing and annoying. Perhaps update your website.

Alexandria has an abundance of former industrial spaces that have been turned into cool cafes and restaurants, and Bread & Circus makes the most of this setup by contrasting the exposed girders and pipes with its pretty pink colour scheme and baskets and fresh vegetables on tables. It is, before you even order anything to eat or drink, simply a delightful place to be.
The food options are good, fresh, and healthy, and the coffee hits the exact sweet spot for strength – enough to taste, not enough for you to look down and see new chest hairs appearing.
The only reason this place doesn't hit five stars is the prices, which are pretty high even for the Inner West. $4 for a small (cute cup, but definitely small) coffee is a bit steep, and the food follows the same pattern. That said, if you're willing to fork out a bit extra, Bread & Circus is a good place to do so!
