Great vibe. Service friendly and food excellent. Most chill cafe in Daylesford/ Hepburn by a fair margin.

Cozy, family friendly establishment with great atmosphere. Delightful menu offering filling breakfasts, fresh light lunches and winter warmers.
Staff are helpful and positive, providing a quality selection of local and imported beers, wines and spirits. Pop in for a great coffee and chat with the locals.

An awful experience in an otherwise lovely weekend in the Spa Country. When my daughter reached for the menu on the counter, it was snatched from her hand by the ?manager. Suitably chastened, we waited to be escorted to the table. While it is not uncommon to see a No split bills sign in cafes, at this one there were signs posted everywhere indicating 'No split bills', 'no substitutions', 'we don't serve half serves' which felt unwelcoming and controlling. We ordered our food from a pleasant waitress, with my daughter selecting a simple meal of sides with a tomato relish, as she has a few allergies. When beetroot relish was delivered, we asked for the tomato relish, and were told we would be charged extra for it. When we protested that it was not what we ordered, the manager came out to the table with the returned product, waving it at face height and stating that he would now have to throw it out and we should pay for it! It was a ridiculous, aggressive, unpleasant scene over a small inexpensive item which left us with a very unpleasant taste. After insisting that we had not ordered it, he told us he was going to speak with the waitress, who looked distressed when we next saw her. If she felt as bullied as we were feeling, I'm not surprised. This is perhaps the worst customer service I have had the misfortune to be the recipient of, and I would strongly recommend against this cafe.

We nearly didn't go in to this cafe as it looked a little quiet and it seemed a little dingy/ miss matched from the outside, and boy am I glad we walked through the doors!
The staff member who served us was amazing! Polite, helpful and friendly without being pushy at all.
The home made beetroot hummus with sourdough is one of the best things we've eaten our whole time in daylesford!
Not to mention the warmed brownie to top it off 🙂Delicious!
Great coffee, delious cocktails, free live music with a relaxed atmosphere!
    We'll definitely be back!
