Food here is always good, Toggs is one of the rare Cafes that is not only good food buts its CONSISTENTLY good, a rare thing nowadays. One of the very first "melb" style cafes to open in Cadtlemaine, nearly 35 years ago, still going strong and deservedly so.

We visit Castlemaine on a regular basis and always look forward to having our coffee and meals at Togs which has consistently good, high quality, reasonably priced, delicious food. The menu is changed regularly, the soup servings are generous and delicious. Good choice of cakes & slices, the seasonal tea cake is my favourite especially when it is quince. The Ceaser salad today was exceptional👏 Staff are professional and helpful with a good knowledge of the menu, they are genuinely and not superficially friendly.

Great place for lunch. We ate upstairs on the open air verandah and enjoyed nice views. The beef cheeks were delicious and my wife really enjoyed the salmon brushetta. Reasonbly priced. The service was good too. We highly recommend Tog's place.

Fresh, interesting cafe food -much better than the "burger and chips"fare at several other local cafes/pubs. Coupled with some nice wine,reasonable prices and a seat in the winter sun and it proved well worth a lunch visit!
