Great location in a really cool area. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great place for a long stay. Beware WIFI IS NOT FREE

It is walking distance to train and bus station. They do not take AMEX and it costs $10 to park. The place isn't sound proof well so if you are a light sleeper I wouldn't recommend this place.
This place does have a decent shower, hot water is easily accessible.
However, no hair dryer that is easily accessible.
The security of the place was good, requiring both a key for room and key card to access the building.
There is an outdoor pool that is relatively decent sized.
The bed sheets were clean and the doona was warm for the weather.
The overall cleansiness of the place was well.

This place is a joke. Terrible service and filthy accomodation. Cheapest hostels In Eastern Europe make this place look like a hole in the ground. Thanks for ripping us off. Good thing they pay for positive reviews or nobody would stay in this hellhole.

Very noisy environment didn't sleep at all. Had to leave and sleep in my car. I wonder if the dude at the reception deliberately gave me the worst room(A3)! NEVER AGAIN

Nice en-suite rooms, only issue could be lack of air con. Biggest shower head I've ever seen.

What you'd expect really. Small, older looking rooms. New bathrooms. Midweek stay was quiet, yet quite hot.

Beautiful building, surrounding an open air pool in the yard. The rooms are clean and comfortable, each with an own bathroom. The kitchen has a good size and is clean as well.
The location is perfect if you want to stay in Newtown, but otherwise you'll be in the city within 10 minutes if you take the bus.
Newtown is a nice part of the city, with excellent night life, café and restaurant offering.
The staff is sadly unfriendly, especially the lady at the reception should think about changing her work place, as she is obviously annoyed all the time. They charge you for WIFI

It's said it's not a party hostel, well I think it depends on the publicum. When I stayed there, people made a lot of party :)

Just extended my stay for another week. Conveniently located in trendy Newtown, this hostel is suited to backpackers staying for a weekend and those looking for work and don't mind the long term communal living. There are obvious a few rules in place but they keep things fun and safe for everyone!
