I wish I could give no stars. I bought a packet of anchovies about 3 weeks ago. Tried to use it today. It was almost powdery, full of dirt and had dead bugs in it. But the worst part is, there were many live insects among the used quantity in the pack. Expiry date is 2021. The label is ANIRBAN IMPEX & DISTRIBUTORS,NSW. Do not recommend going to a place who is willing to sell people such poor quality food that could could make their customers sick.

I recently bought a packet of frozen paneer and it turned out to be stale. The best before date was still a couple of months away so I suspect they let the paneer thaw sometime in between. Never going there again.

The food is tasty and the menu is good. The love the nan's here, they were better with the old chef though. Its a budget place to eat like if you want skip a day to cook, its light on your pocket. The serves are generous too.

Mouldy spring rolls. Disappointed. Called the store they blamed the supplier for stacking expired stuff on the freezer ?? Expired March 22 !! The store is responsible for stacking and checking on dates
Manufactured in 2017. The store told me it was purchased recently but that's no excuse. The sheets are black and green. I am thinking it has been thawed, gotten warm then frozen again. This is not the first time I had an issue with expired goods here.

Doing great ever since the takeover. The food quality and speed has increased hugely. The in-store prices are great too and the owners and staff are always happy to help.

Good service but in summer times air-conditioning is not working and this place is too hot inside.

Quality of food: Brilliant. Dining area: worse than Maccas. Kind of cool, kind of not.

This is the best priced Indian in Canberra. The little cafeteria style eatery makes my heart sing with its authenticity and the goat curry is exceptional. What's more a main with rice is 10 dollars. This is a hidden gem.

food tastes good, but the groceries are of poor quality, we bought sona masuri rice last week and when we opened the bag we found some warms in that. rice is of very poor quality, and price is too high.

The dining area is always super messy and unclean, the service is usually pretty rude, but the food is totally worth it.

This Indian store is part of our lives from day one since we are in Canberra. Free delivery was offered to us when we did not even have a car. You get every Indian item you wish for here and the people are so friendly. The store had continued to grow over time now selling clothes and all forms of Indian chat items.

One of the better grocery stores if you are looking for stuff from the Indian subcontinent. It also has a small takeaway counter selling Indian Street food as well as curries, naan and rice. The chole bhatura here is the best in Canberra.

Poor cleanliness. Tables and floor had leftover food and the tables were stinking. When I asked the man on the counter to clean, he came and sprayed tables so carelessly that the liquid was spraying over me. Food quality is average. Not going to try the restaurant again.
