First impressions was a very welcoming family vibe, the staff are amazing, and the food is value for money. Thank you for a wonderful dinner

Have been here three times and am very impressed. Canberra's top restaurants often boasts 5 stars only to be disappointed with a 3 star (or less) reality and a much lighter wallet. Not so here. Every dish we sampled was perfect. The staff are efficient, professional and welcoming without being intrusive. After 2 years of looking I have decided this is my go to restaurant in the ACT. It is the quality one would expect in Sydney or Melbourne. We went on a Thursday night and it was packed. If you'd like to try this venue then I would advise booking in advance so you're not disappointed.

I was worried that because the restaurant was completely full (on a Thursday night) that the experience would be sub par. I was completely wrong. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They were fast to tend to all our needs too.
The food is wonderful and again came quickly. My friend and I shared a pizza for entree and I had the prawn linguini for main followed by baklava for dessert. All dishes were super satisfying and reasonable portions.
The selection of wine was good too.
Overall this place is 10 out of 10. I can't call it a hidden gem since it was full but don't let that worry you. Bookings are essential but once you have that - there is no looking back!

I can see why this gets good ratings but elements of my visit were not so great. One main was awesome- the slow cooked goat was divine. Our second main was below average. The deserts were both nice but not outstanding. The music was too loud and the waiter commented on this and turned it down but the restaurant itself was quite noisy. As a table of two, we couldn't have a quiet conversation. We either had no wait staff or two at the same time, and my experience was that the floor service was disorganised and therefore chaotic. The service was friendly but it was very clear who the regulars were, and they were treated differently. In the end we had to ask for the bill and take it to the bar to pay as we seemed to be waiting for someone to come and take care of it. I was disappointed on the whole but will likely try again just in case it was an off night.

Had a great night here with family and we were looked after so, so well. The food was fantastic, the service was impeccable and the vibe was warm and relaxed. Highly recommended.

Average home cooked food. Very poor service. 20 mins to have our menus provided them 3 different wait staff and to take our order. Won't be visiting again.

Big thank you to the staff here, particularly Gino. We were a large group there for a birthday and they made us very welcome, really exceptional service. The food was also great, the lamb shoulder was recommended and did not disappoint, very tender and flavorful. I'll be thinking of this place next time we have visitors to Canberra or want to eat out.

Had a really nice dinner with family at Olive Mawson; the Lamb Shoulder was melt in the mouth delicious!! Service was swift and friendly yet not over the top. Our Entree included Zucchini fritters which were really tasty, yet pergaps a little doughy, however the in house baked bread is beautiful.
