I along with a small group of friends spent last Friday arvo, night, Saturday, Saturday night and departed around lunch time on Sunday.
Let me first say that it was an absolute great weekend. Not one of us had any complaints at all. It also happened to be probably one of the wettest weekends in a very long time.
We did the whole spectrum, cabin for 3 but only occupied by 2, cabin with room for a couple, camper with large awning, which we all gathered in and one even braved a swag. (Yes, in that rain)
Firstly, the staff. What great people. From the moment of check in to the check out, just fantastic.
The cabin I had was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Fridge, microwave, stove jug tea and coffee supplied. It was great to stay in a cabin with a dead quiet reverse cycle air con which really worked overtime keeping us warm. The grounds were neat and tidy.
If you are looking for a 5 star concrete jungle full of noise and mod cons then this is not the place for you. But if you are looking for a little "old world character" the way Mandurah use to be, complete with trees
grass and yesteryear buildings then give this a go. If your life is centred on the internet and the demon has a firm grip on you, then this is not the place for you either. But if you think you can live through a few days with some good old fashioned conversation with a great group of friends then I would highly recommend this place for a group getaway. Please don't tell your friend, I'm hoping to make this an annual event and I'd hate to find I can't get in because all your friends have book us out. Yes we did have a very small leak in the cabin, but, dam we had some rain.
You don't even have to venture down into the expensive eateries when the BEST Chinese food is right next door and if you venture away from your comfy digs a little further, you find the best ITALIAN at the roundabout. Hi Rosa.
All in all, a great weekend at the BELVEDERE Caravan Park.

Had a wonderful stay over the Easter break, the camp sites we stayed on where huge, grassy, and shady. Lovely quiet and a relaxing stay.

But I need to say a HUGE thank you to Terri she was fantastic!! From the initial booking to us arriving nothing was too much trouble, she was proactive and sorted out our camp sites so that we were all together whilst still maintaining that infectious personality and huge smile. You made our stay more enjoyable.

Jason ( think that was his name, Guy with the beard lol ) he was great very friendly and interactive with everyone made us all feel very welcome.

P.s You picked a winner with Terri she is a fantastic asset to Belvedere Caravan Park!

P.s.s Would love to see the amenities upgraded for our next camping trip:)

This park should not be advertised for touring and camping holidays, it is a mainly residential park made up of dilapidated old caravans and chalets that in our opinion needs bulldozing to the ground. There is no security or barriers allowing any old waifs and strays to just wander through on a night. Speaking to the residents on the sight they told us it was a regular occurrence that anything would go missing if it wasn't locked up or out of sight. We were sited right near the entrance close to the main road and the noise and locals behaviour kept us awake all night and we did not feel very safe at all in just tents. The site was over run with ants and we were all bitten to death, the facilities were no where near up to standard and the dead vermin around the site was not so pleasant either. We left earlier than we had paid for because we could not cope with another night feeling as unsettled as we did. No refund was offered but also wasn't expected. The staff were friendly and doing their best but really are fighting a loosing battle. The place is beyond repair and should be closed down!!

Had a bloody great long weekend at this park !!
Saw quite a few not so good reviews and to be honest was bit worried about taking our 27 foot caravan and brand new land cruiser to this one .
Old saying goes " don't judge a book by its cover " . We loved it and will be back 100%. Not sure of his name but the guy with the beard walking around looking after everyone ,,, great guy , friendly and very obliging . Cheers mate . Those negative reviews are obviously pin heads !! Go pay your top dollar else where . We had a total of 20 of us over the 3 night stay and we all give use a 40 thumbs up !!
