Slightly better than Bendigo's pathetic 3.9, but still not good enough. Owner is expert at apologising, but nothing seems to change. Customers should confront the rude staff member straight away - not write a feeble review anonymously on Google Maps! Demand to see the manager and show him or her what your complaint is and insist on a refund, or replacement of the offending item. There are business cards you can give to rude or abrupt staff, who have no customer service skills, which offer training and advice, such as Work with animals; you're not compatible with humans!

Had lunch there today. My bacon, egg and toasty was fine but our cappuccinos were lukewarm and my husbands pastie was not hot. Maybe we struck a bad day. Wouldn't go back in a hurry.

Always great pastries and baked breads. Lovely place to sit and enjoy the food while the kids play in the little play area. Clean and tidy.

Food was great but the lady who service was rude. We have 4 year who was picking the donuts colour we wanted and she was sighing and carrying on, it wasn't that busy.

Fantastic service comfortable sitting area great Coffee thanks to all Ballarat staff you do a great job. Our bible study meet in your cafe everyweek & even at the early hour of 6-45 am we are greeted with smiles well done

Very poor service. Not friendly or helpful. Not willing to make reasonable efforts to please. No real consideration for people who can't carry food and use walking aids simultaneously.

This place is about the best pie shop you'll find. The pies are absolutely beautiful and you can get so many cakes, tarts and whatever, not to mention the bottomless tea or coffee if you think you'll want a refill.

One of a number of Beechworth Bakeries in country Victoria. It's great and I always make a point of visiting a Beechworth Bakery when I'm in a town that has one. The Ballarat store is large. The is a small car park at the rear that is not directly accessible. Street parking must be paid for - that's a downside.

Excellent selection of high quality bakery goods and snacks at average prices. Coffee is great. Staff always friendly and helpful. EFTPOS and tap-and-go cards accepted. Highly recommended.
