  The place is probably good, but one staff member can give such a bad experience to stop me coming back. "Sorry mate, I put through the wrong order." - that's it! That's all you get from a staff member getting it wrong!
  And in the meantime, you sit there, wonder what has happened to your meal - and watch others eating theirs knowing they were after you!
  So, if only I could there when that person wasn't on shift.. Oh well.

  Order a burger for lunch, bun stale and bacon missing. Poorly put together and just put on table with no comment. Terrible lack of customer service, no greeting and staff struggle to even smile.

  20 minute wait just to order food. Needed to get people's orders moving faster. When food did arrive, long delays for food to come that was ordered first and arrived last. Noting we were a group of 14 but were also ordering between general public. Food was pretty average too. Oh well.

  Had a meal with my husband Both of us had the chefs Seafood plate..we generally eat at Mac's hotel once to twice a month and the last two times we've been for dinner we have both been sadly disappointed with the overall quality of the food and service. We were standing waiting to be seated for 10 minutes only for my partner to walk up to a staff member and ask for a table to be cleaned and cleared. The food was very oily and crumbing was falling off, it just felt very rushed. The salad was nice though! Lastly, the toilets have recently been renovated but there is no soap or hand sanitizer in the toilets, it was also like that when I visited last time!? We are at a restaurant but you can't wash your hands with soap!?
  
  I'll give Mac's one more chance and if I am disappointed again as I was this evening, it will be time to find another bistro for Saturday night meals with hubby!

  Table was dirty. Food was not very good. Good shop a docket offers. Reasonable prices. Staff not very friendly.

  Great place, great food. Its kid friendly and the staff understand that it can be hard to completely control 2 kids whilst having dinner. They're very patient. Would suggest.

  Nice place for a lunch or dinner. Occasionally has "shop a docket" specials which means get second meal for only $5
