I have used APBI new home construction inspections twice and I am satisfied with the results. Reports were very helpful to me as well as with the builder as a reference. The detailed reports were easy to understand and the photos were accurate and clear. Schedules were on time and inspectors are very helpful if you have queries. Overall, it gave me peace of mind during the stages. I would recommend them.

I purchased a completion stage inspection (the report they recommended for my situation) that was conducted in June on a new apartment. They conducted it the next day which I was happy with. Unfortunately the report was quite basic and not a lot of effort was put into it. The inspector didn't bother summarizing the report in the 'Report Summary' section, so you have to search through the document to find any defects they found. Unfortunately the only thing they managed to find was building dust in the sliding door tracks. That's what my $440 got me.

The report had roughly two sentences of comments in the entire 22 page report from the inspector (Manuel) with 21 photos. Most of the report was their T&C stating their exclusions. The inspector is yet to reply to my follow-up email from a week ago.

I cannot recommend anyone to get one of these reports. They are not looking for anything an untrained eye cannot see.

I will update the review after my settlement date as there are quite a few things that were flagged the day prior to the inspection taking place that they have failed to identify in the report.

Disappointed to be posting this as booking process and problem resolution was dealt well by Chantelle. Unfortunately I had an abusive, threatening and completely unprofessional building inspector assigned to my job. I had to ask him to leave due to feeling personally threatened as a female on my job site for a request to wanting to understand the defects he will be listing.

APBI have been amazing during our new house build inspections. They were prompt to book inspections in, usually taking them less than 24 hours from when I first reached out. The reports are in an easy to read format, with photos for reference. Inspectors are happy to answer any questions we had regarding what the have found. Would recommend them to all family & friends.

I ordered a Building & Pest Inspection report from APBI that was time critical. They were very transparent with costs and timings and their customer support was great. I received the report within the expected time frames, it was done to my satisfaction. The customer service was easy to deal with and the inspector was available after I received the report for questions. Great company to use, I would use them again.
