I recently purchased a Hills Portable 170 clothesline. It states that the dimensions when opened are 2.4m length x 0.8 width and 1.45 height. The 2.4m length is from one leg to the other leg when fully extended, not the actual clothes line length. So you will not fit a queen size bed sheet on it. Also, the lever that you need to pull to enable the clothesline to be folded so that it can be hung up is extremely hard to release. As an older female I simply can't do it. It isn't heavy but even to move it from one spot to another for me is hard. I would not recommend this for an older female. I am somewhat disappointed. I would like to make it clear that this has nothing to do with Aussie Clotheslines who have been very good from the very beginning to the end, ie, the installation. This is only to let people know about the clothesline. In fact, Aussie Clotheslines contacted me and offered me a refund.

Decided to replace an aging retractable clothesline on our apartment balcony. After a disastrous 3 month experience with a so-called professional clothesline installation company, we finished up with a wall of holes, still no retractable clothesline installed and being told it couldn’t be installed on the concrete wall. The installer obviously didn’t have the right tools (or attitude), because we then contacted Aussie Clotheslines and Brandon installed the clothesline within 15 minutes! A fantastic result from a highly professional team who listened to our concerns and did an amazing job. We couldn’t be happier and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Fast, friendly and fabulous service! We were looking for a clothes line, and we had great help from Joel and Carly. We made a decision and ordered a clothes line on Wednesday, and it was delivered and installed by Brett on Friday (2 days later). They provided ample communication so that we could organise the installation time. The installation itself was fuss free and professionally done. Maybe they could have vacuumed up the drill debris? But otherwise, absolutely no other rubbish leftover, and all the packaging was disposed at the same time. Thank you for the great service! The price was also competitive. We need more companies like this in Perth. Definitely recommend using Aussie Clotheslines Joondalup to anyone :)
