  A hidden treasure. Not easy to get to but on a sunny day, sitting in the country and eating chips and drinking beer, is there anything better?

  Went 4whdr&cam in the hills down by the creek 20years agao,had a near crash,and the farm's that came to the res,Said head back to the pub, Where they feed us diner&breky let us camp out back all for free,We did drink a lot off grog,and that great Australian mate ship.

  Great small country town pub with typical pub menu. Nice outdoor eating area with Chucky the cockatoo to keep everyone amused.

  A rustic hotel that is about the only commercial property in Araluen. Worth a stop to check out artefacts. A cool drink under the verandah is also worthwhile.

  Witty landlord, enjoyed my bangers and mash. Rode 200 kilometres to have a beer, well worth the ride.
