This place would have to be the worst gym in the area.
Haven't used the facilities for over a year plus during covid still took full payments out.
Finally when I decided to cancel they hounded me for final months payment.
Not once did I get a plan or speak to anyone of the staff I was on my own.
Be very careful what you sign as once its done your on your own & the funds continue to be deducted from your account
Thanks for all your non service would not recommend this gym.

It's a nice centre but expensive and poorly managed. The main swim instructor is an uncaring bully who shouts at the kids, but I was told he is their best instructor so therefore his bullying doesn't matter? My daughter also got kicked in the face and chest as he had kids diving in too close but he showed no care and she is too scared of him to tell him what happened.
My kids are often in groups of 5 packed into one lane so sometimes it's hard to see how the lessons are worth the cost as each child basically gets 5 minutes attention.
On top of this they charge all year round and expect 7 days notice if you can't attend, which is ridiculous and unhelpful.response / report this review -

Large lap pool, medium pool and baby pool with water fountain for tots, heated to 28°c all year round. Aqua aerobics and a gym, no sauna unfortunately but clean bathrooms and a new disabled bathroom with hoist. Love the feel of the atmosphere here.

Wow, people are giving bad reviews for ridiculous things that didn't suit their exact needs! The lady who got annoyed classes get full is the funniest.
I love this place and have used it with pleasure for three years. I've had a membership, visit the gym and pool regularly, and think it's one of the nicest facilities in the inner west. The gym is airy and quiet with great views, the pool is fine - a bit over chlorinated but that's the nature of indoor pools with kids' swimming lessons - and bonus no sun exposure. Great floor class teachers, lovely staff all round in gym and desk, no problems with membership payments, and a nice walk through the park to get there.response / report this review -

Baby lessons suck! No lesson plans no new skills learnt each week. Lessons are repeated every week for the last 16months. No water safety aspect at all. SAME EXACT LESSON! expressed this to the staff & I got we will take your feedback on board!

I like this pool, but in the evenings after work there are just NEVER enough lanes for people to do laps- it's all taken up with private swimming classes. Stinks when you now have to pay $8 for a casual swim here now

Took adult swimming classes here. Never got the same instructor two classes in a row. To make it worse quite a few of the instructors are terrible and often you get put with a completely unenthusiastic one. Also got mistakenly put in the wrong level of class one week and got no attention whatsover. Brought this up with the swim school manager and yet to receive a proper response. Would strongly recommend you look elsewhere for classes!!

Without my last experience I would rate this pool overall 3/3.5 stars.
Minus a star because the showers are usually always covered in hair. I means it's literally like a pound, or .45 kg since I am in Australia. I know i'm coming later in the day, and the facility will be closing in about 30 minutes, but it's not excuse.
Minus another star because I feel like my classes aren't structured. I have a different instructor every week, so it's almost like potpourri in terms of what I get in teaching. How am I suppose to show you my progress when you don't have a reference point?
Now why I am giving it 1 star is because of my last session. This teacher was too abrasive for me. Before I signed up I told them I have 0 (and I mean 0 experience swimming, even with a lifejacket on I will still panic in water). After kicking for a while and working on my form I was asked to use the kick board to get on my back and kick, however I am still very uncomfortable with being on my back, the way the water sounds, the way it feels, like everything about it is a big no for me which means I can't relax while doing so. After trying for a while and failing to even get my legs up I said I can't do this, i'm not comfortable with it he seemed frustrated and let me go back to kicking. Once the lesson was over I was leaving the pool, but heard him telling the guy cleaning the area about my shortcomings, which was personally very humiliating for me. Like why laugh at something I was clearly uncomfortable with and struggling greatly at? I found that to be very unprofessional, and it made me feel like utter trash, like cut me some slack, i'm not gonna master these skills with 30 minutes sessions.
Side note the receptionist when I arrive in the evening is super lovely. I don't say much to her, but her disposition is top notch.response / report this review -

Really great place if you're looking for a swim. There is also a gym facility and swimming lessons. The prices are worth it for the quality of service provided

Great place. Very huge and clean place with clear directions are around. There is also a nice Park where you can sit and relax after or before your swim.

It is not the first time I find the water cool. This morning it was realyy cold and I couldn't stand it. I complained and they told me "We know, the temperature is going to raise". It is a shame! I gladly go there to improve my health and instead I got a terrible sinusitis crisis!!!!

the pool itself might be okay but the kids' swim school run at the pool is the worst business ever. My list of complaints is long - there are better places in the inner west that can teach your kids to swim

Good place overall ! Sometimes it's a bit busy and sometimes it's not. Water quality seems reasonable. Keep it this way.

Good facility and nice reception, pool does not smell like Olympic park's. sometimes lanes are crowded but people are swimming in right speed. Decent price.

Excellent value olympic pool and gym memberships. The children's area is not as fun as some of Sydney's other pools.
