Been there a few times, nice staff, nice atmosphere, but really really cannot cook a steak. You are always going to get Well-done or a very best Medium-well-done. Don't order the steak waste of money. But otherwise a nice place.

It's a great venue but the food is a bit pricey for a pub. Not sure if this is usual or a post Covid need to remain viable. Still a nice feed and the staff were lovely.

Good location. Lots of space. Coffee was served really hot.. chips served only warm on this occasion. Will have to try again. But lots of areas to relax alongside the river. Good nightly deals.

Really nice family friendly venue. Menu is a good all-rounder pub style. Don’t expect anything other than the standard are and you’ll have a pleasant experience. Will definitely keep coming here given its size and multi-purpose space but would be nice to have the staff step up a touch.

I've been here a few times recently for lunch after a round of golf. The beer is cold and the Parmas are good. It's good enough for me!

Great pub on the Maribyrnong river. It has been recently been refurbished with a modern look throughout. It has all the amenities and facilities you expect from a good pub: great beer and spirit selection, beer garden, pool tables, restaurant, pokies, sport screens. Top quality pub food too with specials every night.

My first seniors meal. Two good
-sized pieces of fish with chips and a salad. Very satisfying. Great views of the river added to a memorable dining experience.

We were there for dinner and it was absolutely packed but were quickly given a table. Food was fantastic; steak cooked to perfection (med rare). My niece said parma was the best. Only problem is it is noisy but that is just because it is so popular. Great Saturday night 😀🍷

Absolute joke of a restaurant/bar, truly representative of the racist and apartheid-esque nature of the owner and bouncers, the type that refuse entry to potential customers purely on the basis of skin colour. How such vile, abhorrent and racist people are allowed to manage a restaurant in Australia in 2017 is beyond me. I would give 0 stars if possible. Hope that the place is flooded with 1 star reviews to give the Anglers Tavern, its manager and bouncer what it truly deserves for being racist in this great country of Australia.

It was really busy on Sunday and the meals were served promptly, party of 18 were happy with the meal quality and quick serviceprices a little heavy for a pub but it's ok when the good way outweighs any negatives. Well done Anglers.

This place got good collection of Draft beers, average bistro style food, live music most night which is great. The out door area along the river is superb for summer. pricing at middle range

I would literally give this place a zero. I never got to taste the food of the place, so I won't judge the food, but I visited this place on request to go observe the environment of the place. The view there, sitting area is great. Bit that's it. Customer service is horrid. I was trying to ask the lady at the cashier whether I was able to buy dessert, and if so from which counter as I did not want food, she stared at me as if I spoke a different language. Spoke to a waiter at the bar before that, he was slightly oblivious too. The workers definitely need to rise out of their sleeping zone and concentrate on customers without moving them. I'm not going to repeat my question four times for you. I literally have never walked straight out of a restaurant with disgust. I understand everyone has pressure, but if this is customer service then I wonder what other staff who are friendly and kind at other places do.

Very disappointed, we called Friday to book a table for 10 people for my 50th birthday, I was advised that all tables are full, however if you get here early you can sit outside, sounded great, we turn up at 5:10pm Saturday to be confronted by one of the bouncers of an Indian appearance to stood in front of my group and said " what do you want" I explained that we were here to eat and have a few drinks, his answer was "not going to happen,".we asked why, as we were all dressed appropriately, with the exception of one of my guests who had thongs on, being a local, he said he was happy to go and put some shoes on, again advised " not going to happen", I watched lesser dressed ladies enter though the same entrance. I called and asked for the manager and waited 10 minutes however never arrived. I don't have issues if it was with what we were wearing, we were all happy to change, but having your security staff stand dead in front of you and say not going to happen is a real turn off from any of us ever returning to eat or drink there again. We try to support local establishments when we can, however this was a huge disappointment not only for me but also an embarrassment on your establishment for the way we were spoken to and treated. Shame on you !!!
