If I could give it less than one star I absolutely would. This is unlike me at all as I am actually quite tolerant of different hotels and their standard of quality but this hotel was definitely beyond par. Came into a dingy old room with a front door that was falling apart at the bottom (I could forgive this characteristic if it was just our room door but it was every door on the floor that was chipped up at the bottom- not a good first impression). Room smelled like smoke- my sister and I thought we would air out the room as non smokers and hopefully the smell would go away because we didn't want to be a hassle. By the time we got back from dinner the smell was still there. I called up reception to address the issue - the hotel was completely booked out for the night and the receptionist offered no helpful alternatives and simply apologised and ended the call. I actually do remember the receptionists name but I will not say it to protect her. My sister and I spent a sleepless, nauseating night with not just a whiff but a stench of smoke filling our noses. Did I also mention that apparently the reception box for the TVs had blown and so for the entire time we were at the hotel we had no signal so we couldn't even watch tv? Like I said, I am under normal circumstances quite a reasonable guest but these conditions made it impossible to overlook. Sad I was actually looking forward to this stay.

Food was excellent, very well cooked and plated much better than expected. Service was fine. Long wait to order food but that was no fault of the staff, was just very busy at that time. Great deals for seniors every day, prices more than reasonable for non-seniors. My only gripe is that the bar in the gaming room is cash-only and has a very limited range compared to the bistro bar.

It's pretty good there. I'm aware they have bingo, haven't been to bingo there yet, but it's good to know. They have jazz and blues nights too, haven't been to that either but it looks exciting. Food is what you'd expect from a pub, no better, but absolutely not worse. Nice range of pokies machines and a small outdoor area. It's a very visually appealing venue too.

The place is old and not well-maintained. Money wise it is not bad, but it needs some serious work. On the cleanliness level, they can do much better. During our 4 days stay, they never dusted or vacuumed the room. The restaurant though is good, always busy and the food portions are really big! And the noise at night, that's another story!

This pub is always a great place to bring the family. Thursday night was 'kids eat free' (much to our surprise), so our kids disappeared into the play room for the night. Only reappearing for a quick chow down session. The food here is always great. The porterhouse steak was perfectly cooked and has just the right amount of char. The prawn plate was almost alarmingly full of prawns! As for drinks, the Furphy pints at $6 are just the right temperature and price. Highly recommended for a family dinner.

It has been a while since we last visited Seaford Hotel, but this visit did not disappoint us. A smiling waitress met us moments after we entered the dining room and showed us to our seats. Our meal choices were tasty and cooked to order. It would have been perfect had my orange juice been freshly squeezed instead of reconstituted. Although the decor is a little dated, it was not unpleasant, so we felt quite comfortable staying and chatting for a while after we finished our meal. We did wonder why the dining room was so quiet on a Thursday night. Could it have been because there were no gluten or dairy free options on the menu?

Not a horrible experience although nothing fantastic either. It would be somewhere you go when there isn't anything else you can think of to do.

We had an excellent meal there with our family to celebrate my wife's birthday. Food was delicious and the staff came up with a meal suitable for my vegan son. The staff were friendly and very efficient. I would highly recommend the Seaford Bistro.

Service is good, prices are great, but the fish and chips was a little underwhelming as it was a bit on the oily side so I couldn't finish it. Always a good atmosphere though, so can't really go wrong
