Driving into the car park, only to be told that I need to come to reception to collect a pass and check-in was not the best start to the stay. The musky smell of the lift did not go away when the doors opened to reception. The pre-auth on my credit card was $200 - more then the nights stay! Finally, I was given the keys, paid $50 for a night's parking and went back to the car to park it. After parking the car, I once again got into the musky lift to go to my floor. The carpet on the floors perfectly complemented the aged look of the doors of the rooms - felt like a prison. The room was actually pretty nice! Inside the room, the smell ceased and opened into a bedroom followed by a living space. +'s: spacious, fantastic shower -' s: small TV's, lack of power points near the bed.

The way we got treated was really unprofessional and unhelpful. The staff there is rude! I give them no star but in order for this to go ahead 1 star but they don’t even deserve it. APX Apartment is the worst hotel I ever dealt with. Don’t stay there! So angry

Apartment is centrally located in CBD. The building is starting to age but rooms were clean. The apartment was well equipped and has limited parking. The building also have a swimming and gym but I am not sure the the state of them as I did have a chance to use them. The only issue I had was that the remote in the room didn't work and I couldn't get the free movies to work.

Wonderful experience, will be back again.
Spacious rooms, perfect location and above all exceptional hospitality. Have stayed in couple of hotels in Sydney but this one won my heart. Highly recommended to all travelers.response / report this review -

Staff were not great. It took around 5 minutes each for us 10 to get signed in, and the staff made numerous mistakes. The rooms are very nice though, far nicer than expected.

Very lacklustre. Doesn't justify the high price AT ALL! Rooms are average. I was a long staying guest. My washing machine never worked, and they never bothered to repair. One of the bulbs kept flickering. I even saw a cockroach crawl out of the drain once. And I was paying $280 a night for this (in March, not Christmas). Except location, this place has nothing impressive at all.

The rooms are average. Locations is good. Reception is helpful. The room quality is old. Overall would consider again.. If need be

Staff were friendly, but limited in their ability to help (they're really just there to sign you in at the beginning of your stay) The hallways and carpark stunk of garbage. I was very unimpressed. Would not recommend to others

Great value. Good ambience in room, friendly staff. Entrance is not exactly grand but the rooms are modern and spacious. View is of an office building adjacent. Full kitchen dining table for four plus outdoor table for two. Everything you need.

Well priced, large apartments in a good location. full kitchen, including oven which is ideal for a longer stay. hotel pool which was often unoccupied. big bed and balcony, couch, table and plenty of space, all included in the lowest price room they have. and serviced daily. Would definitely stay again.
