Great staff but this is the floor of a building so it's not a conventional hotel.

Pension city is clean and had accomodating staff. The bathrooms were clean and relatively new and modern. There was a thermostat that controlled a unit mounted near the ceiling. The floors are carpeted but have wooden floors underneath that squeak incredibly loudly. It is easy to hear a roommate or passerby.

Perfect location, kind thoughtfulstaff, great breakfasts, mild smell from the required electric sewage system. But I'd stay there again.

We stayed at City Pension in Vienna in May 2015 for 2 nights. Location was wonderful--Right near St Stevens Cathedral, allowing us to visit numerous times as we walked to other sites. Staff was very helpful and make us feel welcomed valued and pampered. We found a bouquet of fresh roses and a bowl of fresh fruit in each of our rooms on arrival. Staff was very helpful with taxis, maps, suggestions for sites to see. rooms very small but beautiful with good beds and beautiful furnishings. Breakfast room was also quite small, but with a wonderful selection of goodies for all tastes and dietary needs. Great coffee choices. I would definitely go back or recommend this hotel to friends.
