I bought a Groupon coupon for the hotel. I roadtripped from Germany with a couple of friends and we arrived later than expected. When we got to the front door, nobody was there and we had to call the front desk so somebody would come. A very unfriendly man came 10 minutes later and rushed us to our room and left. No "Welcome" or anything. However, the room itself is awesome. It was like a well- furnished apartment with a great view over Vienna. The next morning, my boyfriend and I went down for breakfast only to see the breakfast room was closed. (The coupon included a breakfast buffet.) We then had to go to the front desk (surprisingly somebody was there) and ask about if there was breakfast available. A woman from the cafe attached to the hotel opened the door, gave us dirty looks, and sat us at a table. She told us there was no breakfast ready and that she was very angry that nobody told her she had to prepare breakfast. She asked us if we wanted this and that as if it were a problem and hoping we said no. The whole time she was very sour towards us. She later told us we were the only guests at the hotel. I think there may have been a miss-communication between the front desk and the waitress because the waitress understood that we didn't want breakfast because the front desk said they had asked us and we said no. However, there was rarely someone even at the front desk and we were never asked if we wanted breakfast or not.
I mean, the room was great and the view was amazing. However, the service was terrible and it was at least a half an hour to get into Vienna with the bus. I probably wouldn't visit this place again.
