Very nice, clean, friendly, helpful and spacious everything you could want from a hotel
I loved the fact that the hotel is in centre of Vienna strategically in very important point, just 5 minutes walking from train station. Rooms are small but clean, I was resting in single person room and think it is not enough comfortable. Breakfast was poor but in my opinion it is not critical because making breakfast in popular cafes outside is more preferable to me. I think Hotel Praterstern is more suitable for single travellers not for couples or for families. The nice budget version comparing the other hotels located in analogical points.
Our room was very hot and with all the windows open there still was no ventilation. A fan would have helped. It was too bright at night time which is difficult when you have children to put to sleep. The windows need thicker curtains to block the light from the street lamp outside.
We sat down for breakfast in the front room. The hostess didn't explain that it was a buffet and we could serve ourselves. We sat there for ten minutes before we for up to look around and saw a buffet in the back room.
Generally you are doing a great job to make us feel comfortable in your hotel. I really liked your overall customer care, especially the receptionists. Rooms are so comfortable, shower and surroundings. May be i would like to advise to put a bit bigger beds in semi Felix rooms. Those beds are too small. Otherwise, well done!!!
We did not choose a "corporate" hotel, instead choosing the Praterstern for a more personal, friendly service, and we were not disappointed. The Praterstern is ideal for exploring, with metro stops only minutes away, and the city centre walkable in about 10 minutes. Rooms are clean and there is sufficient room. I especially liked the porters, who were friendly and gave us excellent service.
Excelent service with a personal touch
Great welcome, located in a strategic position (the train-tram-bus-metro station is in 3 minute walk), excellent cleanliness and staff courtesy. The room was too small for 2 people but with all the comforts expected. Quiet area, soundproofing from the other rooms should be improved.
Good for people with little budget. For 29 E you get a small but clean room with one bed and running water. Very close to 2 of Mihai Eminescu's residences in Vienna- Dianagasse 8,Kollergasse 3!Toilet and shower are outside. I reserved on net,I paid at the end.Wifi is 3E/24H.
The service was very nice just like the stuff. The room looked very modern. We also had an opportunity to rent bikes thanks to which we could see almost the whole Vienna. The location is also perfect because it is just 3 min walk to the U-Bahn station. I would recommend the hotel to everybody.
