The staff was incredible. The place was very cozy, and rooms were spacious and clean. A bit outside of the city but the bus stop is right infront of the hotel. The hotel is closer to the mountains, and in my opinion has a better view than hotels right in the city center.

We stayed a few nights here and had dinner in the restaurant. Loved everything about it! Kind staff, comfortable room with pretty view, bikes to ride in to town along a lovely trail. And the FOOD - so good! We loved the variety at breakfast, and the dinner we had there was delicious and memorable.

Absolutely perfect,fantastic hosts,beautiful location,picture perfect building. Breakfast offered an amazing choice, evening meal fresh hot and delightful. Rooms so clean,i am amazed this is a 3 star hotel I would give it 5 easily. Will be coming back many more times

This is everything I want a vacation hotel to be! Clean, comfortable, friendly, with a perfect location near interesting sites. The breakfasts are delicious, and if you eat dinner here, you'll experience German dishes to rival any restaurant. Add in its close proximity to a terrific bus to downtown Salzburg and you'll see why this is a gem!

This place is incredible. My husband and I felt so at home and the family atmosphere is very apparent. The hotel is big enough to feel private, but small enough to make friends with the other guests.
The family is professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. It is easy to tell this is truly 3 generations of hospitality. We will be coming back to Salzburg, and when we do, we will only stay at the Bloberger Hof.response / report this review -

Fantastic place! We are in two Quad rooms (one with a kitchen, which we did not use). Lots of room, comfortable beds, strong shower. We are dinner at the restaurant when we arrived, it was a good meal. A little bit out of the center of the town, but we have a car, and garages are plentiful in town. This is my wife's favorite hotel on our vacation!

Probably the best hotel I have stayed in! The setting is fabulous on the outskirts of Salzburg near the mountains. It's in a quiet location with little noise. The 21 bus is 2 mins away and will take you to the City Centre. The rooms are simple but very nice and clean. The bathroom was very modern. We visited in a June and fans were left in the rooms when it got very warm. The breakfast is excellent quality with a good selection and beautiful breakfast room. All of the family that runs the hotel are polite and helpful.

Offers dinner, but we never made it there for that so I can't rate it.
Very comfortable beds.
Good service from staff.
In quiet location, but this also makes getting there hard and time consuming by bus, but not something they can control, not worth a whole star because the bus does finally drop you off within 1-2 minute walking distance.response / report this review -

Fantastic place to stay in Salzburg. A little out of the city center but it is worth the 15 Euro taxi to get out here. Beautiful views of the countryside and mountains. The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated. The family is very friendly and helpful. About 1km from the home is great walking trails through the country. The restaurant has amazing home cooked meals for dinner at fair prices. Breakfast is also very good and is included in your stay.

This could be the best hotel I have been to! The location is magical and the hotel is maintained very well. The family members running this hotel are absolutely amazing and they make your stay pleasant in every possible way.
Starting with the views of the mountains from the balcony to the breakfast in the restaurant to the dinner: everything is fantastic! The bus stop is right across the street so going to the city center is easy.
This hotel is away from the center of the city but it provides an excellent break from the city out in the green fields and mountains.
Highly recommended for solo travelers, families and couples!response / report this review
