Great place to stay. Really clean big rooms. Nice location (1min. to U-Bahn station) and 10 minutes walk to main railway and bus station. Friendly staff and no problems with additional services (like luggage storage after check-out or before check-in). Fully deserved 5 stars!

Very friendly/helpful staff. Good price and close to train station. I liked that they have a phone for guest use. Their common kitchen could use some work - wasn't very clean, clean cups were all dirty inside. No sink so had to take kettle to bathroom to fill, which is gross. Could use lockable storage lockers in dorms as well.

Great location and friendly staff, however it would have been nice if the staff would say something about the city at c/i. Also nothing about the hotel facilities were mentioned, which I think was a shame. The room was clean.

Meininger hostel is a great place to stay in Vienna. It is very large and is the nicest hostel I've ever stayed in, as it looks more like a hotel (but has the cheap prices of a hostel).

I shared with 2 other girls that I didn't know, and the room was plenty big enough for all 3 of us.

Would definitely recommend if you want to stay in Vienna on the cheap whilst not sacrificing your comfort :)

We liked this hostel and think it's one of the better ones in Vienna. The people who worked here were great and super helpful. Our room was pretty nice and clean, including the bathroom. The only thing I would wish for is a cleaner mini kitchen area and a hot water kettle.

The location of hotel is quite near the main station and has many restaurants and shops near the hotel. But it's one disadvantage that the room is without air conditioner and we can hardly sleep without opening the window at night. And it's noisy outside the street even until 2am. In my opinion, this hotel is a suitable choice for students since it's cheap and really convenient.

This hotel is really convenient for urban trevelers. I've stayed in 6 beds women dormitory and it was great. Also the price is really low (hence perfect for students). The rooms are spacious, well-equiped and pretty clean. Staff was kind and they speak great English. Only thing I've missed was socket nearby the bed and bedside lamp. I've enjoyed the stay and I would recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed the functional and clean rooms, the low family rate and the good location and transport connections. However I have negative feedback on 3 aspects :
    - There was permanently people talking loudly in the street during the night. Even if we were on the 4th floor it woke us up several times.
    - The luggage room was dirty and smelly with food leftovers
    - The fire brigade was there on the evening when we came back, which made us doubt on the safety of the hotel.

nice hotel! Good sized rooms, clean, pretty quiet, and a varied breakfast. I have stayed there several times and the staff has always been helpful and I've always enjoyed my stay. Great for groups.

Good location near metro station and train station. Lots of restaurants, fast food, bars nearby. Big rooms with up to 6 beds. Friendly stuff. 3 stars because rooms could be cleaner. No air conditioning. Quite noisy street when windows are opened.

My female friend and I (both early twenties) booked a mixed 6-bed dorm room, but we forgot that Meininger are hotels, not hostels, and cater to all age groups - we were bunking with a various assortment of 35-40+ year old men. The building itself was a bit noisy, but it didn't help that our roommates liked to stay up watching TV at full volume until late at night. I guess as long as you bring earplugs and breathe through your mouth, this place is a roof over your head in a good location, with very helpful staff

The hostel rooms are clean and cheap. You can store your baggage easily 24/7, but there are no lockers in the hostel rooms. The breakfast is €7 unfortunately and the reception desk is helpful and available 24/7.

Nice clean, warm room. Steps away from underground station especially direct access to conference centre. Kitchen on the ground floor with fridge, microwave and kettle. Many food outlets nearby including halal food especially recommend Yemeni cafe. Supermarket very close. Reasonable price and convenient especially if you are traveling with kids.

I've stayed in the hotel just for one night. Receptionist was very kind and helpful and me and a friend of mine stayed in a 6 shared room. As regards the room it was pretty essential, but there just were three sockets and who stayed in the upper beds (of course me and my friend) of the bunk beds had no way to charge any electronic device and had no private lamps. In order to improve the hotel they can improve a little bit the services.

It was our first stay at MEININGER hotel and it was amazing!
We arrived before the hour of the check in and really tired, and our room was already waiting for us.
The receptionist was really nice and friendly. And everytime we need something or some information they were always available.
The room was very clean and comfy.
    And the location was perfect.
I fully recommend and hope to stay in this company again.
