  Whatever you do, do not accept a room on the 6th floor. It's like being in prison (I imagine). The window is a small opening onto the roof that you can't see out of even by standing on a chair - I've just tried! It's stiflingly hot even with the window open (long pole provided) and/or the air conditioning going full blast. We didn't choose this room. It was booked for us as part of a package by Railbookers. Should have asked to see it first. Off to have breakfast. Hope it is a better experience!
  Fortunately the breakfast was very good. Nice selection of food and staff on hand to provide coffee refills.

  Free sweets and drinks in the lobby! Rooms were cool and airy during the heatwave. Breakfast was great and well catered. Full amenities and great location with good transport links.

  We stayed at K+K Palais Hotel, Rudolfspl. 11, 1010 Wien, Austria May 7 for 3 nights. Please beware for $200.00 plus per night (over $600) for three nights) make sure they don't book you on the 6th floor of the hotel. There is no window but you do have sky light that provides no view at all. Also if you sit at the desk provide the ceiling is only about 66 inches from floor to ceiling so if you are less then 5 ft 6 inches tall you will hit your head on the ceiling. Shame on K&K for even offering such a room.

  Decent hotel in a quiet part of the city. Helpful English-speaking staff, nice rooms. Subway is very close so you can get everywhere easily.
