If you have breathing problems I would not choose this hotel. Full floor carpet is not a best idea and if it is decades old it is even more bad idea. Wooden floor under the carpet is going down 1-2cm at many places as you step on it. Price is very low comparing the location and room size but as the hotel is not renewed in 25 years (?) this is understandable. 39€/night is low price though. Breakfast was good and service also.
OK as a budget trip hotel.

Very nice classic hotel. Good value for its price.

The room was big and clean, having a bit old-fashioned equipment, which is either in very good condition or completely new.
The building itself is also kinda old, but it shouldn't confuse you, since it is in a good shape.
The breakfasts are okay, it is worth to take them if you plan to get up early, since many restaurants nearby open late.
The staff look to be strict and conservative, but nevertheless they're very nice and helpful (This is probably applicable to the whole Vienna itself).
I enjoyed my stay here, it was a good conclusion of my vacation trip.

Very good location in Vienna. 15-20 minutes until the city center. The rooms are nice and cozy.

I would stay here again. The staff were friendly my room was spotless. I couldn't want anymore in a budget hotel. A+++

This is a historical looking place. Looks quite neat from outside. The room space is large. In the double room you can find a table with three chairs, which I find very useful. There is a tram station close by. The room could be cleaner. The bed looks clean, though. There's no water cooker inside the room but you can get hot water from the reception. The quality/price ratio is high.
