  NOT recommendable. Really poor service. They treated us like idiots so we left. As a local I guess the staff doesn't care because of the huge turnover based on a perfect location close to the entrance of Schönbrunn and it's masses of tourists. Never again. If you're looking for traditional austrian food close by you will find a renowend restaurant just 4 min. and 300 m further the main road.

  Good place to host small groups of people. Wide variety of food and drinks in offer with good service to back it up. A few limited vegetarian options are available as well. Recommended for an evening out with friends and business colleagues

  Great range of well-made traditional dishes, good German-style beers, nice large indoors and outside beer garden. Everything we tried eas good and portions are large.

  A lot of space, in- and outside. Prices are moderate and service is good. Easy access from the station Hietzing, around 5 minutes walk.

  1 Good beer,
  2 serves big servings of nice food. Not sophisticated but hardy.
  3 has a lovely outdoor area, it's been a hot summer so lovely in the evenings.
  4 the inside area is a Hapsburg era ballroom
  5 the staff are nice
  6 its reasonably priced.

  Had the lunch buffet, food was good. Service was acceptable. I would recommend their schnitzel and some creamy mushroom dish. Check it out if your leaving the zoo hungry!

  Rump steak very nice!
  3 Rips in 16.7 Euro wow but ribs are bit solty for me.
  Potatoes comes with Ribs are really nicely cooked.
  I would go again.

  Food and beer are good although:
  - Service was VERY slow
  - Dishes are HUGE. If you are not very hngry, one dish for two is enough.
