We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights on our tour from Munich to Vienna. Great location, a nice short walk from the central train station. Clean hotel, friendly staff and good service. We requested an extra bed as my son from Amsterdam decided to join us for the weekend and the hotel provided us with a suite. Great!
We arrived midday and ate lunch at the nearby restaurant at an indoor mall. We then took a short bus ride from bus stop next to the hotel to Mozartplatz in the old city center for all the major sights. On our second night, a Sunday we walked 10 minutes to eat at a very good Austrian restaurant. A great Salzburg experience overall, thanks to a great hotel stay.

Centrally Located. Comfortable.
This hotel was popular with the hosts of our tour group because it was centrally located and within walking distance of the train station and Mirabell Gardens. Despite this, our room was quiet.
We found it to be a standard hotel; comfortable. but not special. There are three price points for rooms; Classical, Executive, and Super Executive. Our tour need needed quite a number, so we had Classical rooms. We found that having a place to open our bags without laying them on the floor was difficult.
The bathroom was clean and bright.
The views of the city are better from the upper rooms.
The Panorama Restaurant is on the top/15th floor. Breakfast is served there and we watched the sun rise.
The Breakfast Buffet is substantial and there are lots of options.

The hotel is right next to Salzburg main station. It's quite convient for travellers who are not familiar with the city. The receptionists are kind, and rooms are clean.

A bit worn down rooms. Expect some 20min walk to old city. Pretty much nothing to see nearby exept construction works.

The view of Salzburg from our room on the 13th floor was stupendous. The restaurant served food that tasted as good as it looked we loved it here.

Room and bathroom were clean and spacious. The service was gracious. Great location for exploring key points of interest. The soap dispenser in the bathroom was broken and adapters for electronics were not provided.

We went to Trend Hotel Europa having made a mistake and supposing we had booked at this Trend Hotel, when in fact there are 4 hotels with this name within Salzburg. The employees were very helpful getting us to the correct hotel, however.
