One of the cutest airport i would say. I have posted a couple of videos, landing in Antigua. All credit goes to my sister for capturing this amazing flight. I had to cut the 4 min landing video into several bits as google maps has some restrictions like not more than 30 seconds So enjoy watching them 😊 i loved the weather outside the flight, it was so nice and clear that the roads down were also clearly visible It was all green and looked like there were tiny toy houses everywhere 🏠🏡 its a once in a life time opportunity for many, take the chance and make memories 😊👍 God bless

I had the opportunity to pass through this new airport early on this year and I am super impressed! The new building is huge! Lots of shops and a variety of food outlets but they were a bit on the pricy side which has not changed. The waiting area is absolutely fabulous!

A bit of a messy airport, walking from the plane over the runway to the gate, waiting 20 minutes at the desk (together with everyone else who was on the plane) before the customs arrived. Make sure not to bring any lighters in your hand luggage cause they'll take them all from you.

The new addition to the V C Bird International Airport is spot on.

The airport is clean, comfortable, quite cool, as it should be and the staff is friendly. There is much more seating now than there was before in the old terminal.

There are also quite a few options to get something to eat and drink there now.

When in transit the processing is pretty quick and you’re on your way. Very nice airport!

How much did they pay for someone to design that runway/taxiway.. you dont want to get caught in ground traffic at this airport that's how inefficient it's set up.

Staff are impolite. The way they treat Caricom Nationals is awful. I was there for a meeting, treated me as though as I am criminal, waited almost an hour in Immigration Office. Never shall I want to go back.

The Sole International Airport on Antigua and Barbuda is in its third or so iteration since at least two other Airport Terminals stood in the same locality. The modern recently constructed Airport Terminal and ancillary facilities are the pride and joy of the Antiguan and Barbudan Nation.

The types of modern amenities were available in Metropolitan International Airports but had not as yet reached to Antigua (Jet bridges, Escalators and "no-touch" restrooms to name a few) however the new Airport took care of those modernizations and even added greater improvements to make International travel more of a breeze.

The New V.C. Bird International Airport acts as an international travel Hub for several Neighbouring Islands as were the predecessors, but this time with greatly improved facilities. The decision to retrofit and improve the former Terminal (still used although not for travel) or to build a Complete new Terminal is beyond my expertise so I will refrain from commenting on that aspect of things. All in all I feel a sense of nation pride when travelling or even just visiting the spanking new facility.

AMAZING experience - the airport is quite new, if you fly with BA (british airways) there will be no delay. Mobile checkin allowed. Very Fast security check. As well very efficient. Inside the security area, food is way over priced and low quality, but not a big deal. Only a few shops, no cosmetics, few parfumes, cigarettes are very cheap (30 USD for a Marlboro light carton) - Big Gift shop. anyway, very small, very efficient, you dont need to be there 3 hours in advance ( we took 5 min from leaving the luggage to security. Well done Antigua Airport!

BE AWARE OF THE MONSTERS IN GREY
(Police officer) today is the day I've came to the realization that Antigua's police officers are cruel! First it was my great uncle receiving a ticket when I've arrived; now to mom receiving a ticket when I'm departing. Talk about stupidity! After pulling in front of the 1st set of Glassdoors for me to check into my flight, my mom decide to reverse in the parking area. While trying to collect her parking ticket from the machine, out comes the monster in grey.. telling my mom to pull to the side to receive a ticket because she reversed a short distance into the parking lot. WHAT!? No explanation. No warning. No signs saying that she made an illegal turn no nothing. But a 200 dollar ticket. I will never be traveling to Antigua again. This has turned a good experience into a bad one. No customer service. No mannerism. My fellow viewers DO NOT go to this country.

The terminal is small enough to walk from the arrivals check in area to departure area. There is only one restaurant on the ground floor which is at.the point of writing this review is still under construction. The physical terminal is kept very clean and the staff works with a sense of pride.
