Very well known pkace for snorkeling but in November 2016 I didn't find it so amazingly rich of marine flora and fauna. I like the tour we did on the boat and learning a bit more of the area and buildings we could see from the sea but like everywhere else in the Caribbeans health and safety is "optional" and local people are a bit rude if you don't spend money. It's also annoying the way they go on and on about English invading their life and territory making them work very hardwell I had the filling that they like little work and lots of money as for a 500ml bottle of water in the English Harbour they tried to change 5 pounds

Do not go here unless your a member of the Inn or the beach club! The public access area has almost no parking and is very rocky. With so many nice beaches, visit this one for the anchor and skip the swimming. instead head over to valley church beach.

Great bar, right on the dockside in the historic Nelson's Dockyard and English Harbour. Check out the ceiling for all the previous visitors and their yachts (& Atlantic rowing boats!). Breakfast, lunch and dinner served: it's not 'fancy' but good quality bar food with fresh, local ingredients where possible. Check it out if you're in the area. Free wi-fi too!

The Galleon Beach Hotel is situated in English Harbour it looks up to Shirley Heights, The Interpretation Center and across to Fort Berkeley in the Nelson's Dockyard. The Hotel consist of beachfront (your backyard is literally the beach) and some hillside villas with other accommodations and amenities strewn across the spacious well maintained grounds.

Galleon Beach Hotel has access to at least 3 beaches and the world famous "Pillars of Hercules", The views from this property are astounding and delightful to behold. The historic nature of the area is a feature of the location and pieces normally found in marine museums are integral parts of the landscape and seascape. Being in the sheltered harbour along with the Nelson's Dockyard Marina, The Antigua Slipway and next to the Inn at English Harbour means that the beach is calm and tranquil with ever changing interesting Scenic views.

Having the usual modern hotel amenities and restaurants makes this hotel a worthwhile place to vacation or for some stay-cation.

This beach is actually perfect and quiet. Usually you will find some of the hotel guests from next door, but not alot of people. There's more local than tourists on this beach. It's great also because you can do a little snorkelling around here. Go to the point of the coast and you will have a great time snorkelling here

Beautiful, quiet little beach. Get a piña colada at Cheeky Marlins and watch the sunset.

I love it here. It's almost never crowded, so quite serene. Great for some time of relaxation away from the usual hustle and bustle of life.

Really nice place to stay when you will be on the island. Anyway, very basic stay, not for sibarites.

Beautiful beach, not crowded because of two resorts which stops people to come I think. Lots of marine plant.
